If I was told correctly, baton passing randomly switches your pokemon right? made to get out of mean lookers...correct me if im wrong. I have no move guide list and the only 3 pokemon i know that learn this are scizor, mr mime, and celebi. i know there are more...can someone send me the skill/statfinder for g/s? the current skill/statfinder is still underconstruction for g/s right now.

Baton Passers transfer everything like double teams, Amnesias, Agilities, Barriers, reflects, etc. to another pokémon which you bring in. I ***don't think*** a pokémon is randomly brought out. I think you switch as normal after selecting this move. At least that's how they should have designed it to work.

Here's a list of all the Baton Passers, and what they can pass on (repost):

Venomoth: Double Team, Substitute
Mr. Mime: Barrier, Substitute, Meditate, Psych Up, Double Team
Scyther: Focus Energy (*), Agility, Swords Dance, Double Team, Substitute
Ledian: Agility, Double Team
Ariados: Spider Web (*), Double Team
Aipom: Agility, Double Team, Defense Curl
Girafarig: Agility, Psych Up, Double Team, Amnesia, Foresight (*)
Scizor: Focus Energy (*), Agility, Swords Dance, Double Team, Substitute
Celebi: Perish Song (*), Psych Up, Double Team, Defense Curl

(*) I'm not sure if these moves can be Baton Passed or not.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about Smeargle. That means that any stat change can theoretically be passed on to any Pokemon. However, Smeargle is gonna have a hard time surviving long enough to do it...

You select who the Passer will pass the Baton to, is your choice but I don't know if it is this way in Vs battles, I only know it works in the RPG and NPCs...(Non Player Characters)
