I've just relesed the ledgendary dogs from tin tower. Now I don't know where to start to look, can anyone help me with this? Oh, I think I have an idea on how to catch them. Use the quick calw and use endure the whole time. But anyways, where do you catch them? I kmow there are different places they start and when they teleport. Just tell me the places to look please.

They can pretty much appear in ANY grass area. (Dunno bout caves/forest)

You just have to be lucky to encounter them. But once you do, you can check on your dex for their location.

HOWEVER! They also move when you move. Meaning if you see one, by the time you have walked/biked there, its probably gone by then. You could try and trace out its path and use fly to try and intercept it. Use repel to keep those anoying rattas away too!

The Quick Claw is in the bottom right of the National Park (you know, the place where the bug contest goes on). A girl on a picnic table gives it to you.

Nob Donut: yeah, i think so too. I'd be using names like Biff, Pongo, Goober, that sort of thing

Thank you Velox! However, I just spotted Raikou. And whenever i close in on him, he just teleporst away from that spot. It's annoying. How do i encounter it without it getting away?

I bet noone can get as lucky as I did at catching the dogs. I encountered AND caught all 3 within 2 hours. I'm currently writing a guide telling how I did it. I'll give the link when I'm done.

Just train your low level pokemon in a patch of grass somewhere, and eventually you'll see 'em.

The only problem with Fly is that they move to a totally different area when you use it. (It happens to me alot).

Maybe false swipe and Mean look can help capture...

Yes, Jolteon X told me about the mean look thing, it's the most usefull trick to catching them. After that, just use endour to the highest and then use speed balls. This is how you find them. Fly to Violet City. Then check to see where they are. If they are exactly 2 routs away from you, try to go after it. It will either come at you an meet you at the center, or it will go away from you. You have a 50% chance. If they are not 2 routs away from you, fly there again.

Bah. Best way to catch them is to send out an Ice Punch user and freeze them solid.

As for their movement, they only appear on routes in Johto, and move to an adjacent route whenever you move to a different map (enter a town, exit a cave, etc.) And when you use Fly, they all move to a random location.

1)Heh. Just use a master ball. Then you can try to catch Lugia/Ho-oh w\out one.
2)Freeze 'em all? What are the chances of THAT happening...
3)Paralyze 'em and chase 'em around the world til you hurt them enough to catch them with Fast Ball

i have found jynx to kick mega ass catchign them, at level 44 (give or take a few depending on yours' stats) she will attack first, give her psychic, lick, black gaze, lovely kiss, start out by lovely kissing, chances are it will hit, then black gaze them, 2 psychics will get them down to low orange (give or take a bit), then lick for like 5 damage untill they are in low red, when they wake up, they cant immediatly run because of black gaze, so provided they dont use roar you will have another chance to lovely kiss thats how i caught 2 in my japanese silver rom, YAY

The cats/dogs/coyotes/wolves/legendary Pokemon move one step everytime you move a step. If you're lucky enough to see them, try using Mean Look and then Paralyzing them or putting them to sleep. Then just start chucking 'balls. I wish there was a pattern to their movement. I really want them!!!

Oh, yeah. I haven't even seen them. What level are they??

Considering that I've frozen every legendary I've run into, I'd say it has a fair chance of happening.

No, like I said, whenever you move to a different route (enter a house, exit a town, etc.) they move to an adjacent route.

If you paralyze them with say T-wave, will the paralysis stay the next time? or is it just HP that doesn't regenerate?

I think this belongs in Sakaki tower, but if you shark either one of the three so that the next time you run into a wild battle, you encounter Raikou/Entei/Suicune, and you catch it, do they (the nonsharked versions) appear again?
