For those of you who are wondering what the Red Scale is for, read on.

I'm not sure if you can get the Red Scale by defeating the Red Gyarados, because I always catch it. Anyway, once you obtain the Red Scale, take it to Mr. Pokémon. He will get so excited that he will offer to trade you an Exp. Share for it. The Exp. Share is actually better than the Exp. All, because it allows you to target specific Pokémon to share the Exp. with.

Sorry if you already know this, but I thought it was something that would help all the new G/S players on the forum.

Yes you can get it if you defeat it also. The damned thing keeps beating itself in its confusion against me...-_-

Does the EXP.SHARE share Stat Exp.?

Well, the EXP.ALL did, so I would assume this one would too...must be tested, but not by me!

FYI, Exp Share works (From what I've seen) by giving Half to the pokemon who fought in battle (If it was more than one, they share that amount) and the other half to the one holding the Exp. Share.

That'll make it easier to train the ultra-defensive Pokemon, like Shuckle and Wobbuffet.
