As G/S is coming, and newbies run amock, what pokemon do you think newbies will use?

Like in R/B/Y, Pikachu seemed to be the one some newbies used a lot, so which in G/S?

I think probably Marrill, Togepi, and Pichu will be the favorites, and probably will be used.

Wadda you think?

Lugia, "Pikablu", Evil, Steel, and Dragon types, Ho-Oh, Selebi, final evolutions of the three starters, Mewtwo, Mew, Tyranitar, and the infamous killer Pichu.

(Just when you thought "Pikachu, Thundershock Now!" was lame enough.)

I believe that due to lessons learned in Chromatics, all the newbies will have learned Azure-quality Pokemon skills, and will make wise decisions about which Pokemon to--

Entei/Raikou/Suikun too, Togepi as well...

And don't worry, "Pikachu, Thundershock!" should be on the way down, seeing as pikachu was only 32 on the KidsWB top 15... instead, we'll be hearing "Mewtwo, Swift now!"

Heh, yeah, the old R/B Learning Curb is gone...although it WILL take them some time to learn some of the combos...

Actually, around here all-element stuff is bound to arise, with the Punchs now being TMs, and the fact that few, atleast in my barren strip of DE, know jack about Pokemon...*plans on laughing uncontrollably when someone pulls out a Master Flame/Flamethrower/Fire Punch/Fire Blast Bakufuun*

I'd also expect that along with the Starters, the Legendaries, and Tyranitar/Dragonite, there's gonna be a spike in the use of somewhat less-known ones like Donphant, Denryuu, the new Eeveelutions, and Hassamu...although if they don't know about the vaunted new Eeveelutions and Scyther's evolution, they've been out in left field....^^;;

I'm not sure that the Legendary Cats will be on many newbie teams. They're far harder to catch than the Birds, and I doubt many kiddies without GameSharks will be able to manage it.
