I'm getting Silver, since it will let me complete my Pokedex in Yellow (except for the Kabuto series).

Silver, but only because Lugia kicks so much more @$$ than Ho-Oh does. He has a better name, too!

I'm getting Silver because I love the color, and like Psydork, I think Lugia is much cooler in everyway compared to Ho-oh even though fire is my favorite type! LOL Silver will let me get Lugia earlier and I'm glad about that. My brother will be getting gold, so between the two of us we should be able to get all the pokemon (with a little help with the gameshark for Seleby of course

)

Silver. I know that both versions have hardly any differences (lugia excepted) but I think of gold as all look, no content. As the actual metal appears good but is really soft and not durable. Sound crazy? Maybe you are right

Pretty one sided, given that gold is a more precious metal...

I guess the combination of Lugia getting more press and being a bit more of a badass is having an effect.

Joy! I'm getting both, so's I cin trade with myself (that sounds naughty, almost). I think I'll like Silver better mostly because Porygon's ohsoCUTE in that one.

I've already Reserved Silver! The resone I like silver is becase its a cool color. I mean I've named a Nidoking of Mine Silver and my name in Harvest Moon64 is Silver. Silver is just such a cool slick color. And I might get gold to "Catch them All" Good thing I reserved it becase on Oct 15 they'll be tons of little kids fighting over it, next day they'll be sobing becase of its complacations(Most children under 7 cant tell time!)

Even if I get both, I would lack Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl (?), Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, and Mew, because I lack my own RBY cart (I use a friend's).

Lugia is in both but you catch him at a lower level in Silver then you would in Gold...

I reserved Silver because that's the theme text color of my Website, plus I like Lugia better, and he/she/it is on the cover.

Plus no one will buy it for me for my birthday coming up, and I heard that Silver is the Version where you can be a Girl. I, as I'm sure many other Girls do, get sick of walking around as Ash Ketchum. Dunno if the Girl/Boy different Versions thing is true or just a rumor, though.

P.S. Deos it take a certain amount of time or Posts to be a Cheese Whiz? I'm selfconcious about being a newbie...lots of people don't like newbies...I'm afraid they'll come after me! *Thinks to herself* Better get a head start on them now! *Dashes away without another word*

Unless it was added in during the translation (very unlikely), you can't be a girl in G/S. I read that you can choose your gender in Crystal, though.
