arrrgghhh im pissed.i was whupping up onthe elite four and when I came to gary, I was concerned, I have never beaten his clefable, this was the first time he didnt select the pink punk so I was feeling good about the battle. to save the details heres how it went:
jynx vs. electabuzz=jynx took out electabuzz with two psychics but was paralyzedjynx vs.slowbro=did some damage to slobro but had to switch out.
jolteon vs. slowbro= got lucky with thunder and slobro was gone.
jynx vs. pinsir= I thought ice was strong vs. bug, i was wrong, one hyperbeam.
jolteon vs. pinsir= i used the recharge round to nail him with toxic. next round, I thought fighting was strong vs.bug, i was wrong, one hyperbeam
starmie vs. pinsir= i used the recharge round to minimize then proceeded to thunder i did serious damage and toxic was slowly builing up. i did minimize twice while he used swords dance my last thunder nailed him and brought him to 8 HP. he blasted right through all three of my minimizes with hyperbeam.
so had my strategy gone correctly, he would have missed with hyper beam and toxic would have dropped him for sure. but he just destroyed my chances.8 points was all that was standing between my brand new pokemon and finally beating my rival. oh well, I guess mewtwo, kadabra and chansey are coming back out to my cheap team.
