I'll add to all my stuff from my topic by saying that when me and Fanha fought, which was one of the most enjoyable battles ever, my Mewtwo didn't stand a chance versus half his Pokémon. Paralysis severely crippled my Mewtwo, and a few physical attacks and he was out cold. Like I said, if you people would stop complaining and find a good strategy (there are PLENTY out there) and utilize it, Mewtwo wouldn't be a problem. And Fanha's team wasn't bent on killing Mewtwos either. It did fine against everything else, so don't gimme that crap about how you don't want a "Mewtwo killing" team instead of a regular one. That has got to be one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard.

I'll keep it brief...if he had so little trouble with your Mewtwo without expressly preparing to deal with one, that must be one krappy Mewtwo.

I can beat Mewtwo with Wigglytuff, but only if I'm fighting someone who isn't using Mewtwo properly.

I'm no expert on M2 move sets, but I'd wager that either he got lucky or you don't know what you're doing.

The classic movesets aren't always the best.

Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Ember/Fire Spin is a pretty classic moveset for Charizard.

1. It undoes paralysis, poison, and burn (I don't know why anybody would even have a move that burns).
2. It recovers the whole way, when Recover and Softboiled only give back some health.

My Mewtwo has Rest, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and Amnesia.

I considered that once, but the problem is that as soon as you wake up they can paralyze (or poison or burn) you again.

I have Rest on my Mewtwo. I use it because it will, like you said remove Poison, PARA, etc. Not only that, but You can leave Mewtwo out there longer without replenishing HP. If you get to like 50 HP, just Rest it all back! It was the main reason I FINALLY got Surfing Pika. Stupid Moltres kept getting lucky w/burning... erg.

Hear hear! I think Mewtwo is awesome-looking,
but it's SO cheap,with its high stats! If I ever get my hands on a Gameboy Gameshark,I'll try to edit my Mewtwo to have the stats of Alakazam,so it's not so cheap.

Here's a moveset I may use on Mewtwo:

• Tri Attack
  
• Psychic
  
• Mist
  
• Recover
  

This is pretty balanced.
