I'm trying to get Hyper Mode in the Kid's Club on Stadium, but some of the games are really hard on hard mode. I'm having trouble with Sushi-Go-Round and Snore War, but especially Snore War. Any tips?

Heh, I'm like the master of these mini-games ^_^

Anyways, Snore War should be one of the easiest mini-games ... all you have to have is good rhythm and good eyes. Tab the button whenever the pendelum hits the center. I'm sure you knew that, but that's all it is. Tap, tap, tap. I guess you'll get better with practise.

As for Lickitung ... the most important thing about that is the screen where they show the most expensive sushi. See that? Go for them at all costs! Especially the orange. It's usually better to just hang around in the center ready for the more expensive ones to appear than just keep eating the cheapo ones - when an orange might appear and you're stuck swallowing something else. Also, remember the same sushi bonus! If you eat 2 oranges in a row, you've probably won. But that's unlikely so just eat the lesser-expensive ones and wait for that particular sushi to appear and eat 5 of them in a row.

Anyways, eat in this order: orange one, hot dog, orangey stripey one, red one - the others should only be eaten if none of the above's appeared for a while. Last tip: You can push the other lickitung's around. So if you see an orange one and a CPU (or human player - heh) going to get it before you do, push him a bit or block his tongue with your body.

I also have other tips for the other minigames if you have trouble with those also. The only mini-game I'm not as good as the others, is the harden one, although I've gotten a lot better lately ..

Good luck!

(Personally, I am the KING at Thundering Dynamo. No one can beat me at this, human or Hyper CPU)

In sushi go round, I can get some pretty high scores by eating only one type of sushi the entire time. I usually pick the third, fourth or fifth most expensive sushi, and only eat that type through the whole game. I don't bother with the orange thingy or the shrimp because they are too infrequent. It you eat, say the red roe thingy only, and keep getting x5, than you're earning as many points each succeeding time you eat one as the orange roe. The tuna nigiri and the tuna roll are also good choices, and if all else fails, eat the egg nigiri. The thing to remember is eat one type of sushi and stick with it!!!!

Another strategy is to check out what the computers are doing. If one of them is going for a x5, try to force him to eat something different.

Orange thingy - most expensive = salmon roe?
Shrimp = Shrimp nigiri
Red thing on white blob = Tuna nigiri
Red thingy = Some other type of roe
Roll with red in center = Tuna roll
Yellow with black stripe = Omelet nigiri
Roll with green center = Cucumber roll
Cheap spicy crap = Wasabi

heheh .... Wasaaaaabi!!

Oh, and I agree with Acey on Snore War. You just gotta practice. I don't think there's really any one thing you can do to give you the edge except a STRONG sense of rythmn and LOTS of practice.

On snore war, don't look at the screen. You will know when to press the buttons when you hear it, gradually getting faster by nodding your head in time. If you look, you will try to time your button presses as it passes over, not as the beep sound sounds.

On sushi go round, go for the red ovals with black lining, throughout thw whole thing. They are very frequent (continuous really) and you can get at least 12000 by eating them throughout the whole match. ONLY go for the 1000 ones if you see 2 on screen, and you are sure you can get them, and are sure that getting two/whatever in a row of the 1000 priced ones will give you a higher score than the score you would get if you ate another piece of the same sushi.

However, if you are going for a one player high score (for a compettion or whatever) ONLY go for the 1000 ones, and play on hard. Once a com player gets a piece on hard (usually one of the top three) it is very likely they will go for them again, as a combo score.

Oh yeah, my top score on sushi is 17000, if anyone's wondering.

Hey, Pkthunder, thanks for the tip on the sushi game! I didn't really know that strategy would net you those types of scores ...

Oh, and branners, your way seems a lot of extra work! Not to mention your friends will laugh at you if they see you nodding your head ^_^. I look at the screen all the time and I get flawless victories all the time (not one mistake). There is no real trick with Snore War, just rhythm and if you don't have that, just practise until you get the rhythm ^_^. Although it could help if you get your brain to tell your thumb to press the button just before it hits center when it gets fast...

Huh, well it works for me. I can get flawless victories as well, we both must be great at our own methods (or something). Whatever method works for you.

Besides, my friends don't laugh: we all end up nodding our heads unitentionally...we ALL look like prats...

Whats your best score at sushi then?

I sure do love sushi...am eating it now. California Roll. I know, I know, its about as Japanese as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... but its cheaper. Publix (Florida Supermarket chain) carries it in the seafood section.
