Oh, good grief people. The whole concept behind pokemon is for it to be very inclusive. Note the really cute monsters. How could girls not like these? From that point, the next step is to just get the person intrgued with the concept to play the game boy game. That is harder, as video games have a more puerile reputation than lots of things. All a person already intrigued by the concept has to be in order to get into the game is either:(1) Big fan of RPGs. (2) Played it, liked it. (3) Likes Dorky things. It isn't *that* hard to fit into one of these categories... On the other topic, I can see being disappointed if you bought JFG for the multiplayer. I wasn't expecting much out of that: I was looking for a cool sci fi story and detailed one player shooting action. It certainly delivered that.
Rent and toss? Not for me. I buy those games that other people sell for dirt and play them: I wouldn't sell a video game unless I was hard up for money (I wouldn't sell it for another luxury item, like a better video game). I'm currently (read: still on pause from when I had spare time) trying to play through Clash at Demonhead. Anyone here an expert on that fruity title? PreSig: Mr. K, Super Monkey Party SSB or DK64? Something wierder?
