Just FYI, the schedule for the Eon Ticket Tour at participating Toys R Us stores has been posted at:
www.pokemon-games.com
Just look under the Game News section. It'll be running 7/19 to 9/1, 12-4 PM.
I personally intend to be at the Vernon Hills store on 8/24 after 2:00.
And now, to level up my critters...

This doesn't seem like it's going to be a "tournamet" (yeah I know that's spelled wrong) though. It seems like it's just going to be a big PR thing. Pass out some Eon Tickets, and that seems to be it. It doesn't say anything about Pokémon Battle...
I'll still go though...

Cool! Anyone else here in the area of Tacoma, WA? I've been neglecting my training, so I wouldn't be able to put up much of a battle, but I'd be happy to mix records or something.

I went. Got the ticket in both digital and e-Reader form, and some pins and plastic Pokémon figurines. The Pokécar was just showing clips from the new season of the TV show, though.

I just came back from Tacoma a few hours ago. I arrived at about 12:00. If you were wondering who I was, I was the person wearing a Suicune T-shirt with a piece of paper with the PokéGym logo on it taped to my back. I was there with my two brothers. My younger brother was wearing a grey Pokémon shirt adn blue shorts, my older brother was wearing a grey T-shirt and had a Pokéball attached to his pants. The two people there basicly had a small red canopy set up and the Pikachu car beside it. They had a few GBAs with Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, an E-Reader with Eon Ticket plus Game Link and a place to play TCG. They also had a table where they gave away free Pokémon toys, Pokémon posters and Pokémon pins. The first thing I did when I got there was get the Eon Ticket downloaded into my game(and also got the real Eon Ticket), picked up a free Pokémon toy(I got a Scizor, my older brother got a Psyduck and an Articuno), a free poster and a free pin. Then I just hung around the place for about an hour before going for lunch. After lunch I came back. I found out that they had pre-made decks that you could use for TCG. So I played a few games with my younger brother. Most people just came in and out just to pick up an Eon Ticket and the free Pokémon merchandice. I had fun talking to the various Pokémon fans who came in and out of the place. Near the end they were starting to run out of Pokémon toys and eventually the last one was given away(a Slowking, if you were wondering). They had a few hundred excess Eon Tickets at the end, and they gave a few of them to us for sticking around the whole time and making the drive from Canada just for the event. If you want to see just how many, look at this video: http://members.shaw.ca/teamrocketelite/EonTicket.zip
I had a great time. Even though the wasn't much to do there, I suggest staying and meeting all the various Pokémon trainers who come. If anybody here meets up with the drivers of Pikachu car number 6, tell them the guy in the Suicune shirt from the Tacoma stop says Hi.
I must have missed you Twinkle. What were you wearing when you went?

Team Rocket Elite, that movie fricken rocked! Your cinamatography was excellent, seriously
If you haven't watched TRE's movie, go d/l it now! The GB in the center was a GRAND touch...
I'll hopefully get to go get my own Eon Ticketo real soon, but, if for some reason they won't let me have my own ticket, dibs on one of yours k? I'd pay you for your troubles...

I went and got my Eon Ticket today. Hooray. I also grabbed about 10 paper tickets (E-Reader cards). They're going for $20 on Ebay, and you can still get them for free. So I'll wait till a couple months after the tour's over and see what I can get. And I got a Mew toy and a Scizor. Unfortunately, the only kid there who had Sapphire was like 8 and his dad wouldn't let him trade; maybe they had to go somewhere, maybe his dad thought I was gonna touch him. So that sucked. I went around last night and caught females of everything that isn't in Sapphire to trade for Lotad and so on. Oh well. Didn't get to battle either. Still, worth the trip to get the other Lati.

I went yesterday. I got an Eon ticket for my GBA, and a couple of the E-reader ones for my friends and a Houndour and Totodile toy. It was pretty cool...
