It was around 3pm EST when I walked into the center. I looked around, immediately trying to find a stuffed Vileplume. No such luck. I spotted the staircase and walked up to the 2nd floor. There, I noticed a bunch of people in the corner playing cards and gameboy Pokemon. There were A LOT of black kids, and no offense or anything, but they dressed stereotypically black down to a tee. I saw this small girl and some adult-type girl trading Pokemon, so I asked if anyone wanted a battle. I battled the girl first. Being her levels weren't all 100, I decided to be lenient, and only used 4 Pokemon. I still won without a single Pokemon KO'd.

Then I fought the other one, whose name I can't seem to remember.

My team: Forretress, Kingdra, Ninetales, Umbreon, Vileplume, Blissey

Her team: Tyranitar, Tyranitar (yes, two), Articuno, Mew, Celebi, Umbreon

I can't remember the battle well, so I'll just say how each pokemon got KO'd.

Her Umbreon got Toxic Looked to death by my Umreon.
I exploded Forretress in Celebi's face.
Tyranitar 1 fell to Kingdra's Surfs and Blissey's SeiTosses.
Tyranitar 2 fell to Vileplume's Petal Dance.
My Ninetales got hit by Mew's Ancientpower.
Articuno was taken out by a mix of Kingdra and Ninetales.
I believe Kingdra was taken out by a critical hit somethingorother.
Blissey fell to two of Mew's Dynamicpunches (with self-confusion) and a Psychic.
I purposely switched in Vileplume to take a hit from her Mew (her last Pokemon) to remove the confusion from my Umbreon (who was hit by a Dynamicpunch).
Umbreon Toxic'd Mew to death thanks to a fortunate miss by Dynamicpunch, and lots of fun with Protect.

THe score was 1-0. She was damn lucky. She got a lot of critical hits, and got 3 Dynamicpunches in a ROW to hit. 3! Crazy stuff!

I wandered around, chatted a bit about levels, taught that adult-ish girl about max stats a bit, and then wandered around.

I got a Sweet Kiss Nidoran F and Bellsprout from the Pokemon machine. Sweet Kiss is in honor of Valentine's Day. Crazy stuff.

Had some fun with the demo of Smash Bros. Melee.

I fought that damn kid with the 999 stat Eevee, but turned the Gameboy off a short while after battling. I pressed him quite a bit about the illegal Eevee, and didn't even give him a chance to give his BS excuse about it being a Stadium 2 prize. I then called him a moron and walked away.

I asked someone about stuffed Vileplume, but they said they didn't have any. Ah well, I settled for a Vileplume figurine.

It is currently sitting on the shoulder armor of my Master Grade Sazabi (a Gundam model).

All in all, not a bad time, I just wish there were people to chat with.

i bet he lives close to the center or something, and on weekends, just goes to play...which is kinda cool.

i think SDShamshel got him though, cause he didn't use that eevee when me and nova went.

anyways, i'm thinking if we all go when 10k goes, Nova will have his level 100's by then, so we could all go and have a REAL Tourney...you know, something we put together, based on how many people go there and stuff.
