They were yesterday.

I wasn't there, though, so all my reporting is based on what one 10-year-old (Nicknamed Kakureon), who was there, told me.

Some 17-year-old had first paralyzed all of Kaku's pokés with Alakazam. Then Kaku's Blastoise had used Dig.

X's ALAKAZAM used PSYCHIC!
KAKU's BLASTOISE dug a hole!
X took out ALAKAZAM!
X sent out GYARADOS! (WTF? )
KAKU's BLASTOISE used DIG!
...But it missed!
X's GYARADOS used THUNDERBOLT!
KAKU's BLASTOISE fainted!

Anyway, Kaku was the sixth. There were only 14 participants, though...

I asked one of the organizers to mail me reports from there, but I haven't got it yet.

I'll have my first commentating on next Tuesday, when I'll be going to Raisio.

And oh, we just had the "All fired up!" (The episode where Ash reaches the Indigo League). Nicely timed

I still can't believe that Finland has a tourney, and not Sweden. Hey... this could be a good time to demand a tourney... "Why haven't we got a tourney? Finland has one..." Yeah, that'll work... not.

I have to go to unofficial tournaments between 9 people, held in basements... I've won 'em all so far, but I still want to compete on a somewhat higher level

Yaah. More information about the Oulu regionals.

The guy who had the Gyarados, is teh Oulu regional champion. Named Hannu-Pekka Karjalainen.

There was one (1) female participant, who was 19 years old. Too bad that she didn't win, now I don't have a chance to "give her a present"

Anyway, the Raisio regionals will be the day after tomorrow (Tuesday). So, look forward to my full report about it.
