1. What is the max amount of people you can have in a competition??

2. What kind of things do u get from Wizards of the coast??(like posters, booster packs, etc.)

3. What is a suggested fee that u tell to the people who want to play in the competition? I want to try to be fair, and also earn some money, I don't own a store so it won't really matter.

4. What type of prizes do u suggest??

5. Any advice??

6. How could I make sure people know when I will hold a competition??
Thanks

1. 32, for a normal tourny

2. WotC doesn't give a shit. They just rate the players. You supply the prizes.

3. My store charges 5 bucks, {my number row is broken ~_~} but only 4 for store regulars, like me.

4. Usually something around 15 packs for the winner, 10 packs for 2nd place, 5 packs for 3rd and 4th, 3 packs for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, and 1 pack for the next 8 after that, up through 16. Depends on how many people sign up. If you can still make a profit, give out as many prizes as you can.

5. Erm, don't tolerate cheating, kick out dickheads, but not cool people acting like dickheads, { } don't be a dickhead, and keep the riot police on alert for crowded nights.

6. That's the tough part. Either you have alot of friends to get together, who all like Pokemon, {Unlikely} or you actually have a store with regulars, advertise in your window or something, and do it that way. Or you could spend a few million on a Super Bowl ad.

7. Listen to what poccil said, I'm just bringing the topic to the top because I'm an evil post-reviver who likes to raise his post count. o_o

8. You are indeed an idiot for posting a TCG topic on Azure. You should be bashed, and flamed, for saying anything positive about the TCG on this board. 0_o;;;; Go to Pojo for this kind of stuff.
