Ive been all hyped to go to the G/S Adventure Tour, because it was supposed to come to Charlotte. Some of you might have the opportunity to go to one of these stops, but aren't going because its not a real tournament. Well, you aren't in my situation.

Since I started playing pokemon seriously [1998] I have hoped and prayed that I would get a chance to go to a REAL event, and at least battle someone. Maybe even someone who works at Nintendo. Well, nintendo has taken away every opportunity I have had to do so.

EVERY tournament so far has had AT LEAST one stop in Cali, and most have had one in PA, but there has YET to be one within driving distance of NC [I consider driving distance 7-10 hours]

This last act of evil by Nintendo at taking away MY Charlotte tour stop was the straw that broke the Jolteons back. I am announcing my retirement from Pokemon.

So, I wanted to say thanks to Azure Heights, AGNP, and especially to Cat Gonk, who inspired me to become good at a game that I used to think was gay. Well, thanks again everyone, and bye.

Yea, I live in PA, and the only one in PA is 7 hours away from me in Philly, both times. I'm not going to go that far.

) events claim yet another victim.

This is getting out of hand. Simple as that.

You've seen I almost quit. I delayed my decision because of the rumor circulating some of the G/S Adventure Tour stops were dumped so NoA could plan one last R/B/Y tourney tour. I also delayed my decision because people at GameFAQs suggested I stick around and check out G/S when it comes out.

If I get into G/S, you can bet I'll keep going. Then, I'll see you all at the G/S national/global tournament, maybe

And maybe they'll be another R/B/Y national/global tournament, simply because it'll take a while for everyone to convert from G/S to R/B/Y. It's doubtful, but it COULD happen. And if it does, see you all there as well, maybe

Damn Jolteon X, I cant believe it's over for us. We were supposed to go to this together. But Nintendo is sooooooooo f*cked up that there has only been one tour here in Charlotte which you missed. When your ready for a real battle Jolteon X, you have to fight me. If you win, you cant retire, I won the last tour in charlotte even beeting one of our best friends(which by the way you also beat in ease). But if i win, then you can do what you want, because i know that it will be hopeless for you to continue. But i know you can beat me, and I know i can beat you. And I've beaten so many people off of these boards and I know it was tough for you to start, but if you continue i know you can be one of the best. It's such a shame to leave behind all the thingd I know you cn acomplish. I think you should continue. If there is no tourney, you can always fight on PBS when you get a computer that supports it. But just don't quit that way. Eeveetrainer is the number one trainer in the US right now. But thats not what i think. They never even gave you a chance to fight in that. And im sure if they did, you could have won that. So don't quit yet, wait till your chance comes to show that you can do what Eeveetrainer can do.

Man,I feel you:I'm not sure if they EVER stop near St.Louis.I hope so,cause I wanna battle my team someplace other than the PBS,dammit!

i can understand that to i feel the same way because i don't even have real people to battle here. not even newbies, but im hanging on just cause i like the game

I know someone who tried to go to that tour a few days ago and they canceled it without warning! They're having it again tomorrow and I'm going, but if they cancel it again, I'll probably send many angry emails to Nintendo so they HAVE to listen. If anyone lives in the Boston area, or anywhere near one of the tour stops for that matter, did anything like this happen to you? JolteonX, hang around for Gold and Silver. Maybe you'll get to go to a tour. Write Nintendo over and over until you get a real person and see if you can get them to have a tour closer to you.

After reconsidering, I decided that I can't just give up Pokemon. I guess I just posted this because I was pissed off at NOA. Im gonna hang around for G/S, and who knows, maybe by the next tournament NOA will learn how to PLAN AHEAD.
