I'd rather not, because if I did, AH would become known for all the pokémon training people in Sweden. In Sweden (as if anyone cares, I think I'm the only Swede here, except for Parasect but he doesn't post anymore) they're not going to have a promo tour. Not for Stadium 2, not for Pokémon G/S (which will be released here soon). And they never have tourneys etc here. How am I supposed to show my Pokémon skillz if they never have tours or tourneys?!?!
I hope you get a tour in the US. Tours are fun.

And, as Scarab said on Page 3, “Max Stats make the game more fair—if everyone had a chance to use them.” So, I figure, why not suggest to NOA, NOE, and NCL, the following: A tournament for people who shark teams. It allows everyone to use the same stats, instead of two Starmies being 40 points apart in HP. Of course, there would be some restrictions to prevent things like Sporing ‘Trodes or 713-HP Shuckles (I actually have one on slot 4). However, if stat differentials are taken out of the picture, it becomes solely “who is the better trainer”. Nintendo might not take kindly to this, but they need to know that most of the good trainers know how to shark, likely for dead maximums on all their Pokemon. If they would actually allow a tournament that takes DV ranges out of the picture, it could be very popular.

Fact is, Nintendo would never do that because then it takes away the spirit of 'training' your Pokemon.

If there was a shark tournament, it'd have nothing to do with people who take pride in catching the best and raising them the best way. It'd just be a computer game tournament, and that's what made the Pokemon tournament what it was, the fact that it wasn't just a video game... They were almost trying to make it so it was the real thing, like in the anime. And if pokemon were real, you couldn't shark THEM. Sure you could genetically engineer them, hehehe, but that's not the point.

2 points for each DV, 15 DV's...

Well, the other guy might be a n00b who doesn't even know about Box Tricking, so the potential difference can be up to 93. And for that sharknig tournament: I wasn't saying "make all tournaments that way," I was saying "at some tournaments, have a separate area for people who shark themselves perfect DV's, and allow it."

I registered about 4 seconds after the ad on ITV finished, and I never got through. So WHY FUCKING NOT? In the end, I found out the North-East "Champion" was disqualified because they found a Mewtwo with Psybeam and Thundershock on his cartridge.

It would be nice if this topic just died. It's almost a year old already! (actually, Saturday, it will be...)

Then again, this is probably one of the last tournament war stories ever to be posted here, considering no one is getting a national tournament for a while, unless you play the TCG. They have one twice a year

In fact, the next tournament starts September 8th!

It'll be the third (right?) tournament they've had since the GB tournament! (which I decline further comment on unless absolutely necessary)

Does someone see what is wrong with this?
