You really shouldn't say things like that. We were all newbies at one point or another. And ways to solve the newbie problem is give them this sites URL. Thats what I do. Unless they are arrogant idiots who don't listen to you. Then let them eat cake.

I think that newbie isnt a proper term. most of these kids have owned pokemon games as long as you have(unless you went to japan for it) but they dont have the craving to go digging through every peice of rom code possible, which is not bad, just a little extreme. besides, do you really want all those stubborn people creating page after page of immature posts about how mewtwo is the best(which mine is but lets not go into that) and mew is the most powerful pokemon in the world. and I would be willing to bet that if everybody gives out this address to any shmoe they can find, within a week there would be a pokegod post. lets keep this site to those who would help it and who can find it.
this is one of the last CIVIL pokemon boards, lets keep it that way!

I agree. If they REALLY want to find a good pokemon site, they'll search hard enough to find this one. But, I do think that we should go to other MBs and share our strategies that we formulate here.

I use Mewtwo, and I don't care if you think he's cheap or not. He'll always be on my team (except in situations where Mewtwo is banned for some stupid reason), including on G/S, not for stats, but because I like him as a pokemon. So there!

My first Pokémon was a Charizard, too! Way back when the game first came out, on the Red Version. It had the following moveset:

Slash
Fire Spin
Fire Blast
Flamethrower

I look back on that and feel good about what I know now.

We were all newbies at one time? I think not. Not to be egotistical, but the only mistake I really ever made was Fire Blast on Golem. And its not that bad of a mistake really, so there. "continues on insane rant about how wonderful he is for a few pages" So in conclusion, you should worship me instead. Thank you.

I'll tell you what annoys me; people saying how much they hate newbies. mamgar5, I'd shut my trap if I were you. Sure, you've listened to all of Dodrio's shit and think you're the shit now.

And dark lumina 3, I'd like to say a few things to you. Oh, big deal, you've been researching here since February, and you can use lots of big words in your sentences to make you look like you really know your stuff. Sure, anybody can research this stuff. It's not hard browsing through the whole of Azure. But have you even used all your amazing research to, for example, write a guide? I've written several as have several other people. I hate to brag, but now that Darryn has deleted all of his guides from PD, I have have the most guides @ the site. So, dark lumina, would you care to do something useful with all your so-called "research"?

first of all, i noticed no "big" words in my post, and second, the reason I dont write guides and faqs is because I simply dont care, I dont like writing and im too busy. you are the kind of person who does the research, makes the guides and has your name highly regarded all over a site. I however read your guides, use them to pass the time and have my name highly regarded all over my room.

you helped millions of pokemon fans be the best they can be and I bought a homeless guy lunch. we all do our part so get off my back.
