It's 12:45 in the morning, and I'm on PBS, looking for a challenger. I look in the list, and Biffster is there. Well, I haven't fought Biffster in a while, because StarCaliber is between us in the ladder, so I figured what the heck. Soooooooooo, the battle begins!

He starts out with Jolteon, I have Gengar.
His Jolteon quickly paralyzes me as I go for Hypnosis. It missed. Figures. Next turn he tries to Double Team, but I end up putting him to sleep anyway. So while he's asleep I Double Team up.

He catches on to this and sends out... DUGTRIO!!! Naturally, since a few blows from Dugtrio will leave my Gengar lying flat. I have faith in Gengar, though, and decide I could pull off another Hypnosis before I get hit, since by now I have 2 DT's. The hypnosis works, and I wasn't hit. I start Seismic Tossing away, and soon Dugtrio is one hit from death.

Biffster switches to Exeggutor. I'm already proud of Gengar. The Toss meant for Dugtrio hits Egg, and does about 1/4 damage. Here's my luck of the day. I try two turns to Hypotize, and they fail. Fatal Psychics are flying at me and missing. After two failed attempts I switch to Toss. I Toss Egg until he is one hit from death. Then, next turn, a Psychic hits! I'm brought to 1/3 HP, but my Toss kills him!

Next up, Lapras. Gengar is on a roll, but will he come to a screeching halt? Read on.

Yes, indeed, Gengar stops. Lapras' Psychic hits critically and kills Gengar before I can Rest.

I whip out Zapdos! I have never used a Zapdos before, EVER, btw. I just created a new team on PBS. Lapras doesn't want any trouble, so Biffster switches to Jolteon. I Light Screen, hoping an Ice Beam from Lapras wouldn't hurt.

I switch to Sandslash. Jolteon is still asleep, mind you. I DT once, but Lapras is brought out. So I bring out Zapdos. An Ice Beam brings me to half HP. I Thunder Bolt, but it hits a Jolteon. I decide to T-bolt again, since Jolteon IS asleep. The T-bolt is critical, and brings Jolteon to 44%. Jolteon wakes up.

I switch to Sandslash, and the T-wave bounces harmlessly off. While Biffster switches to Lapras, I Swords Dance, preparing for a gruesome fight. I Earthquake, he Ice Beams. Both of us are at low HP. With the speed advantage I finish off Lapras.

2 down, he sends out Snorlax. I EQ Snorlax and he finishes off Sandslash. Snorlax is at half health now. I choose Slowbro. We both sit there and Amnesia up, reminds me of Mewtwos. Then we pound each other, only his Ice Beam is doing crap for damage. We get into a cycle where I hit, he Rests, and so on. I was getting low on PP when a Surf critical hits and finishes him off.

He sends out Jolteon. My Slowbro is at half health and fully powered up. He T-waves, foolish mistake. One Surf kills Jolteon.

Dugtrio comes out. It's asleep still. It's gone.

Gengar is his last front, also his toughest. While it was good, it lacked a good attack. Gengar Confuses Slowbro. This is where Biffster gets a ton of luck. 4 out of 5 times I hurt myself, making it EXTREMELY hard to Rest. I Rest, taking off my paraylsis from earlier. Gengar is DT'ing up. Then basically he toxics me and confuses me, and I Rest just in time. Then, I sense an opening, and fire a Psychic from Slowbro. BANG! Instant death. I win!

Conclusion:

-I had 4 Pokemon remaining. 2 of those were Mewtwo and Mew. Total action they saw: NONE.
-All of you who doubted my skills, !
-I CAN win without Mew/two. I try to, but if things get desperate, I will use them to eliminate a Pokemon or two.

My first war story. C'mon guys, tell me what you think.

When StarCaliber posted a real pokemon battle and you lost like hell, you bitched a lot. You said "Why did you do that?"

PBS doesnt prove anything. I think you dont have any of thoes pokemon trained in real life. Well, you might have a zapdos and tobybro, but with different move sets.

If anyone was lucky, it was you. That hypnosis hit too more times than it should. Even if you did get confused 4 times, I guess it didnt matter because you still beat gengar. My gengar with 6 double teams, got hit with a psychic on the first blow, on the other hand your gengar had 2 double teams and a total of 2 earthquakes and 4 psychics missed.

Hurt self due to confusion: 9/13 times.

I'd say that luck would negate my good luck, eh?

BTW, I don't see any bitching. If I recall, I said, "I was about to get on here and flame you, but you said..." and so on.

Biffster, a victory is a victory. I don't have to have those Pokemon in real life to use them on PBS. I guess you want to limit my strategy because it actually worked? Stop making excuses.

Accually i dont think people even care about this. There are only 6 replies and NO one has said nice job.

I dont want to deal with you guys, I try to go on Azure and have a good time. Then I just get pissed off, because TeeJay is at it again.

That's very near to what you'd expect.

Nothing unusual there. Personally, I try not to stay confused for 13 turns, especially after dealing with the possibly cheating CPU in Stadium.

At any rate, interesting war story.

I'm glad to see that people have stopped posting raw PBS logs, stories like this are much easier to follow.

explosion(he gets simply switched out when a gengar or rock comes out)

rest(oooo..thats one rest)
self destruct(yes,i know i have to blow up birds....but...wasnt i gonna do that anyway?and how will they know earthquake is my only non blowing up attack until i blow up something of more importance)

And the finisher is a regular Toby...

Thats TWO resters...and NO DT's on the team AT all....sama...i havent shared my team with you in a while...so how could you assume it was full of DT/rest?

as for security blankets, so what? if he can beat ass with his blankets, then you should find a way to defeat him while hes using them.

Dammit Argo, what the hell is your problem? You do realize you're losing respect FAST. And what is this crap about security blankets? Do you know how hard it is to change a team on the fly? Half the people I fight don't talk on chat, so how am I supposed to know if they have MewX? I prefer not to use them against someone who doesn't have them. Notice how I NEVER used them against Biffster.

Do me a favor, Argo. Go into PBS, and find someone in the menu. Don't challenge them. Instead, log out and without your gameboy or papers with you, try to change two Pokemon on your team and then log back on and see if they are still open to fight. See what I mean? Thank you, and find someone else to bother.

And c'mon, guys, this is my first war story. I DO NOT want any of you to carry the debate in here.
