well, the reason i didnt answer clearly was cause the pc i was usin was the one in my hotel lobby, and it was frustrating to use, so i tried to keep things short and sweet.

My beef with you Apophis is that you aren't ever on ICQ, and I hafta fight you for the Azure Heights rep tournament (see the round one post(s) from TeeJay on this board). We gotta fight on PBS if you know what that is.

I don't really have any problem with YOU Apophis, I just have a MAJOR problem with the way the system to get to fight you at Stadium Tours is set up. In AznExplosN's post "War Story 2000" under this forum, he/she (don't know which, sorry ) said that the chances of getting to fight a Nintendo rep is based on something like a 1 in 15 chance. In Kansas City (Independence was where all the Tours are), the chance to fight you is a whoppingly pissy 1 in 32!!! How is that fair? Ya know? I mean, I just wanna get a chance to play you in Pokemon some time (LOL, maybe you can hop on Fish151PKMN's Summer Training Tour in August). Also, Biffster is a very good friend of mine, and I wish that you two could get along a li'l better. Oh well.

Apophis, please respond to all the points I listed here. Thanks.

ok.
item one: the reason we had such a shitty system for battling kids is this: we (gym leaders) had to battle about 200 kids per day, and stadium is a much slower game than red, blue or yellow (graphics and such). i would love to battle everyone who came along, honestly, but the kids that won the drawing were our first priority.
in almost every city i came to, i would battle people who werent selected, as long as they were considerate to me.
alot of kids came along and assumed that i HAD to battle everybody that came along. if i actually did that, id never get to go home.
if you have any more questions about this, feel free to ask.

item 2: like i said, im considerate to people that are considerate to me. i get alot of animosity from kids, just because of my job. i am GOOD at what i do, and its not up to you to decide if i deserve my job. im sure that there are peeps who would be "nicer" or whatever, but like i said before, i am a SHOWMAN. would you like to defeat someone who thought they were the shit, or defeat someone who admitted before the battle that you probably would beat them?

understand that 85% of my job is putting on a show, and it seems that some people cant see through that. im a nice guy. if you dont think so, then whatever.

On the topic of battling Gym Leaders at tour stops:

Some tips:

YOU have to be the guy to beat.
In. L.A., I beat everybody who faced me.
The next week in SanDiego, Brandon found me in line and challenged me.

Be nice to them. Be patient, they have work to do. Wait for a chance when they are free. That got Simyn his chance to fight Brandon.

This one hardly works: Bad mouth the hell out of them. I have only seen one occasion when it worked, and the REP that accepted the challnge doenst work with them anymore.

My beef isn't about Brandon, it's about everyone else. Just lay off Brandon. He's an awesome guy to hang out with, and he probably knows a hell of a lot more than you do about the game. Your probably just jealous that he gets the kick ass job of being a rep at the tours! I really see no point in this bashing, anyway. You got a problem with the tour? It's not his fault! Write to the people who make the rules (hint: the e-mail address is on the flyer that you get at the tour). Well, when I was at the 2000 Dallas tour, it was 1/32, and completely random.

The little kiddie I was fighting got it.

He bit the dust in the rep fight.
