Has anyone here every started or know of someone who's started an unofficial tournament? I sure they happen somewhere.

I think unofficial tournaments should be more common. If there was a way to advertise it and to make it a memorable experience and not an "I just want people to link battle me" event. Maybe put some imagination into it. It could be cool.

Hey, I am looking to hold an event...er...uh...tournament this summer.

Check it out!
It's in the Azure Pokemon Center, my Summer Tour.

We could make some kind of tourney out of it...

I'm trying to get a tournament together for this summer to raise money for charity. That way, if any jerks at school tease me about it, I can bring it right back at them and say, "What was the last thing you did that helped someone?"

Anyway. I just hope I can get it organized. But wouldn't that be so nice? I mean, Pokemon, a game coming under fire, being used to raise money for charity. It probably won't work, but I'll dream.
