Yeah its stupid, but remember there will be lots of battles, (128 trainers per store, thats.....a lot of matches).

But what i was wondering is how will they work it out when the 10 minutes are up? I think it will be by number of fainted pokemon, and if thats equal the combined HP... hmmm, now where did i put that Chansey?..

I'm pretty sure it will be the number of remaining pokemon left, and, if that number is the same, the total left HP total of those pokemon.

The 10 minute rule REALLY ticks me off, though. I can't see most of the pokemon on my team because of that...

A 10-minute timelimit rule for pokemon tournament is ludicrous. Serious pokemon battles will take a LONG time, I think. Imposing a timelimit per turn (a few seconds, say) might be feasible if a game goes over 10 minutes, but you should'nt just end the game there somehow.

If there's no entrance fee for the tournament, just get a bunch of idiots to enter and have them input nothing on their gameboys until time runs out. Then you and your idiot friends will win together as a team by attritioning out all the competition. =D~~~~

Judging by location, I'm guessing that some tournament in England has some ludicrous 10 minute match rule.

I could be wrong, but it sure sounds it...

Meh.....just bring along a chansey,snorlax,give them all recovery moves...and PP waste...there is no rule against pp wasters..

Remember the battles will be only 3 on 3 and i think there will be a 30 second per move rule too. Thats still a a minimum of 20 moves a match (by you). It could be even less than that because of the time the animations each attack does.

About the animations being long you can turn those off if you want that is if this is for GameBoy. As for Stadium I don't know about that...

10 minute limits?

Both of my tourney battles took forever; mine was the last fight done both times. I even got two Participation Badges for my effort.

Well, My matches are 13-23 minutes long but I don't have any Stallers/DTers. My matches are relitivly quick. Mabye a 15 or 20 minute rule would be better.
