Hi , iregistered here a while ago, but had to wait a while to be approved, now i am i get ot annoy you with a team rate.

Ampharos (f) @ lefties

Attract
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt
Fire Punch

pretty Standard parattract amphy. Hope to encourage the grass out if they have one (has worked occasionally) and damage it so i can kill it before it destroys my kabutops and quaggy.

Gengar (m) @ (item please)

Psychic
Giga-Drain
Counter
Destiny-Bond

Good way to take out the ground poke with you. Hopefully killing something with psychic before they change.

Umbreon (m) @ lefties

Toxic
Mean Look
Confuse Ray
Moonlight

I cant teach him rest unless i start a new game, so im gonna leave moonlight over rest for the moment, when i get the chance ill swap monlight for rest and give him mint berry instead of lefties

Miltank (f) @ (item please?)

Body Slam
Attact
Milk Drink
Heal Bell

Parattract healbell miltanks, like him lots, but people moan at you for using him :'(.

Quagsire (m) @ mint berry

Rest
Earthquake
Amnesia
Sludge Bomb

Reasonably good at taking out most things, sludge bomb for grasses that come out

Kabutops (m) @ bright power

Rest
Double Team
Swords Dance
Anceint power

Very powerful attack with SD, DT to pp waste and avoid attacks with bright powder.. Rest to recover. Anceint power for STAB and stat increase.

Let me know what tyou think please. I know there is a nig weakness to grass, but they arent that popular, anyone got any idea of how to solve the weakness. Please be kind [Wink] .

Ampharos (f) @ lefties

Attract
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt
Fire Punch

Good...

Gengar (m) @ (item please)

Psychic
Giga-Drain
Counter
Destiny-Bond

OK, if you have counter, giga drain isn't needed for grounds. I'd put, say, thunderbolt there.

Umbreon (m) @ lefties

Toxic
Mean Look
Confuse Ray
Moonlight

Charm > Confuse Ray. I was on my way to a 6-0 this morning, then the guy quit on basis of 'lamer team!'

Miltank (f) @ (item please?)

Body Slam
Attact
Milk Drink
Heal Bell

Not if they have a female PKMN...Item = Miracle Berry.

Quagsire (m) @ mint berry

Rest
Earthquake
Amnesia
Sludge Bomb

Haze > Amnesia.

Kabutops (m) @ bright power

Rest
Double Team
Swords Dance
Anceint power

Solve the weakness by adding in a certain PKMN called Typhlosion. Skarmory and Dragonite work well, too...this set is OK, IMO Kabutops just isn't worth using at all. If you want something odd, use Sneasel.

7/10.

Ampharos (f) @ lefties

Attract
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt
Fire Punch

no prob here

Gengar (m) @ (item please)

Psychic
Giga-Drain
Counter
Destiny-Bond

Good. Keep giga drain for marowaks w/thick club cuz if you use counter on this you've wasted a perfectly good gengar...as for the item give it either miracleseed or miracleberry.

Umbreon (m) @ lefties

Toxic
Mean Look
Confuse Ray
Moonlight

good.

Miltank (f) @ (item please?)

Body Slam
Attact
Milk Drink
Heal Bell

standard, give it leftovers or pink/polkadot bow

Quagsire (m) @ mint berry

Rest
Earthquake
Amnesia
Sludge Bomb

Haze over amnesia

Kabutops (m) @ bright power

Rest
Double Team
Swords Dance
Anceint power

never seen this set on kabutops, in fact i've never hardly seen a kabutops. Drop this thing for a fire type, preferably a typhlosion or possibly a moltres for even more grass defense.

good team, needs a little work though...7/10

I was thinking of using arcanine, but if u think typhlosion would be better ill use him. could u please give me a moveset for them both please?

If your going to use Kabutops, don't use ancient power in this case. Your going to waste 8 turns just to attack 8 times, with no gurantee for even 1 kill. Perhaps HP bug (for grass) or Body Slam over Ancient power.

None of the ones i've got could get HP Bug or HP ice for the grasses, so i gave up and went with ancient power. I could've used slash over body slam for high CH ratio, but decided against both. It doesnt matter now, i've decided its not a good idea to have a water/ground and a water/rock, too weak to grasses...

Well, if you're getting an arcanine here are the some sets i've tried that work pretty well.

Arcanne@leftovers
crunch
flametrower
rest
sleeptalk

That is my current set

Arcanine@whatever
extremespeed
flametrower
sunny day
roar

that's the set i used to have.
I don't know any good typhlosion sets though, sorry [Frown]

Ampharos: Good.

Gengar: Giga drain isn't needed. Try spite or T-bolt or haze. Not sure about an item though. Miracleberry would probably work.

Umby: Charm would be good over c-ray. BS, C-ray, screech, moonlight/rest works pretty well too. Could also try Psych-up, BP, Moonlight, BS/HP flying, just for fun.

Miltank: Standard.

Quagsire: Either haze and safeguard over amnesia and sludge bomb or use curse, rest, amnesia, earthquake and kill flyers first.

Kabutops: I don't think he could really DT rest well due do crappy staying power anyway. I'd put a moltres or arcanine here. Arcanine should have curse, extremespeed, flamethrower, HP grass. Moltres should have sunny day, fire blast, wing attack, sub with leftovers. HP grass would work well too, but I'm not a big fan of HPs on legendaries. Typhlosion isn't nearly as good as arcanine or moltres, but if you must use him, flamethrower, T-punch, endure, reversal.

Overall: OK team that might work ok. Only thing I see is that you aren't using pokemon with great stats and aren't powering up at all. Once miltank goes down, a curselax will tear this apart. Need a hazer too.

Keep in mind I've been out of the game for more than a couple months... of course, at the rate things were going then I doubt much has changed.

Ampharos (f) @ lefties
Attract
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt
Fire Punch

As good as this set can be...

Gengar (m) @ (item please)
Psychic
Giga-Drain
Counter
Destiny-Bond

As mentioned, drop the Giga Drain... (SpunkDawg: for Wak??? How many moves do you think Gengar can get off against that??? Answer: 0) I've seen Protect on here to test and see if they've got a ground move/are willing to die to use it... otherwise I guess just stick Haze or T-Bolt on there as filler.

Umbreon (m) @ lefties
Toxic
Mean Look
Confuse Ray
Moonlight

Whatever, standards are pretty well known... keep as is or go with something ToS suggested, I suppose. I always enjoyed Mean Look, Rest, Snore, Toxic, but it never quite caught on...

Miltank (f) @ (item please?)
Body Slam
Attact
Milk Drink
Heal Bell

...

Quagsire (m) @ mint berry
Rest
Earthquake
Amnesia
Sludge Bomb

Drop Sludge Bomb, most grasses are part poison anyway, and if you see one you're running the other direction post haste. I don't know about survivability, but putting Curse in that slot would make a pretty massive tank with Amnesia, or perhaps just put in Ancient Power or Surf for more versatility. Otherwise there are many haze/safeguard variations, as well as straight attackers with AP/EQ/Surf/Rest. Also Curse sets with AP and EQ. So, in conclusion... yes.

Kabutops (m) @ bright power
Rest
Double Team
Swords Dance
Anceint power

In concept, yes, in practice... no. If using Kabutops the basic idea is Swords, Double-Edge and Ancient Power along with any of Rest/Swagger/Surf/Submission... but it doesn't work that well. I'd probably go with the Moltres ToS suggested, maybe with Double-Edge over Wing Attack.

Hope that was somewhat helpful...

Curselax rapes your entire team so badly. The only possible counter you have is Gengar.

As the saying goes, Curse eats Double Team.

Which is why I Cursed 6 times with Miltank and wasted my entire Body Slam PP arsenal against 4 DTs vs. a regular Lax. Just two hits in a row and he would have been pwned... or two hits during his rest.

Curselax gets hazed by my gengar, so there is nothing to worry about from him being invincible, however i dont actually have a pokemon that could kill him. So i will just sacrifice my gengar should a curselax appear.

I dont like fighting pokemon, dont know why, but i just dont, they always seemed to weak so i never used them ?:\.

Snorlax will then rip gengar apart with earthquake. If you destiny bond, curselax is gone, but then what if they have another curser, then you're screwed. Drop DT and steel wing on skarmory for curse and whirlwind and give mint berry and that's it for curselax (as long as it isn't packing fire blast)

Yes, Whirlwind is an egg move.

If you have a male Fearow or Dodrio (I pick on them because they learn Drill Peck), send it back to RBY, use TM 04 on them (Whirlwind), and bring it back. From there, pympzorz. Ass/u/meing you have a female Skarm.

No it doesnt. I used a fearow, sicne it was the closest poke i had to learning drill peck. I now have 14 unwanted skarms with drill peck and whrilwind and poor stats if anyone wants them. Useful if u want to experiment with hidden powers [Wink] .

I found a use for rare candies too, raising up pokes that u need to learn a move and then breed with them, works very well [Big Grin] .

I just now realized you want to breed both Whirlwind and Drill Peck onto Skarmory. I had two Skarmorys that I caught one right after the other (someone calculate the odds), right before I lost my save file. I also had about 13 Dittos, and a whole bunch of egg pokes [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad] [Mad]

Little sibling... And I did have it on MegaMem, but:
A) It is my brother's and he's being a jackass
2) He doesn't even know where it is (supposedly)
D) I didn't back up all the stuff I stated I'd lost, just before that
