Well, this will probably be the last 'real' team rate that I do; any others will be GSbot teams. This is it, boys and girls: evkl's definitive team for GS. My teams won't get much better than this, so sit back, rate it, and flame me if ya need to!

Alakazam (F) @ Przcureberry (Miracle Berry if I can get it)
Fire Punch
Barrier
Psychic
Recover

Basic open-and-fire strategy, screwed against Smeargles unless I pull off that MiracleBerry. Female just because the maleness doesn't matter. Good anti-spikage, too. (SE vs. Forry and Qwilfish)

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Body Slam
Earthquake
Curse
Rest

A curselax. Need I say more?

Tyranitar @ Quick Claw / Lefties
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Crunch
Roar

Can someone prove/disprove that a Quick Claw will/can make Roar go first? Because that's the only issue I have with the Quick Claw.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Wing Attack
Haze
Surf
Thunderbolt

My basic Hazing Draggy, he's been a staple on my teams since around feb-march, and I still love 'em.

Typhlosion @ Leftovers/Focus Band
Flamethrower (thinking fire blast,see below)
Sunny Day
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

Okay, because of Typhlo's terrible survivability, I was seriously thinking about doing Fire Blast and taking a risk on it. He needs to hit everything he fires, but the added 45 or so Base Power (after STAB) would be really nice, too. Any input on this one would help-and don't tell me to breed for another one, this son of a gun has a 15 special DV, and I'm not gonna risk losing it. Also, directly because of that low survivability, I was thinking of the Focus Band as a hold item-typhlo's fast enough to pull it off.

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Surf
Thunderbolt
Light Screen
Thunder Wave

It's an NYC PKMN Center Lanturn. DVs aren't great, but hey, what can I do? The LS is really, really helpful. Not much to say, if I can force a switch w/ T-wave and do a paralyzation thru the team, it's easy sweepage.

I only worry about 2 things with this team, and someone can tell me if my worries are founded:

1) A status-change team w/ a lot of Paralyzers, because of my lack of Heal Bell. I'll play under Sleep Clause, so a smeargle or whatever doesn't worry me THAT much.

2) Another Lax, because of the who-cursed-first issue; I can undo the curses, but I think I might have a hard time taking the other Lax out.

Well, input is appreciated!

Thanks!

not bad, at least you have barrier over Reflect, definately go for Miracleberry. 5/5

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Body Slam
Earthquake
Curse
Rest

A curselax. Need I say more?

yes you need to, n/m I will say it for you, MORE!!!!! 5/5

Tyranitar @ Quick Claw / Lefties
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Crunch
Roar

Can someone prove/disprove that a Quick Claw will/can make Roar go first? Because that's the only issue I have with the Quick Claw.

To MY knowledge I think QC doesn't work on Roar because my t-tar had a QC and for a month he NEVER got roar to go first. Other than that good, but you might want to drop roar for Fire Blast to take out grass and Skarmory, seeing as you have a Hazer. other than that good 4/5

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Wing Attack
Haze
Surf
Thunderbolt

My basic Hazing Draggy, he's been a staple on my teams since around feb-march, and I still love 'em.

a good moveset dragonite is a happy dragonite, lets see...you cover rock, ground, fire, flying, water, grass, bug and fighting, nice... 5/5

Typhlosion @ Leftovers/Focus Band
Flamethrower (thinking fire blast,see below)
Sunny Day
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

wow......ok Typlosion Isn't the BEST or the WORST but...If you have a 15 SP DV go with Flamethrower because it wont miss and it has a max SP DV so it wont big a HUGE difference in damage. This guy is SCREWED versus an aerodactyl.

Consider Confuse Ray over Light Screen to wreak havoc, If the opponent is Confused and Paralyzed they have a 40% chance to attack you so they WILL switch, then continue as normally planned. Light Screen doesn't work they will just send out a pokemon that isn't weak to Lanturn and Earthquake it, like a Snorlax.

I only worry about 2 things with this team, and someone can tell me if my worries are founded:

1) A status-change team w/ a lot of Paralyzers, because of my lack of Heal Bell. I'll play under Sleep Clause, so a smeargle or whatever doesn't worry me THAT much.

Its not like its balanced Perfectly, more like you are Twirling plates on sticks and one small movement could bring it all crashing down, but you seem to be a great plate twirler *yay*

Thanks!

Good for a lead... perhaps Thunder Wave over Barrier for early PAR, seeing as he's not going to survive much even with Barrier. Or Reflect for psuedo-pass.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Body Slam
Earthquake
Curse
Rest

A curselax. Need I say more?

Yes, you need to say "I'm a lazy SOB".

Tyranitar @ Quick Claw / Lefties
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Crunch
Roar

Roar's going last no matter what, so if the Quick Claw luck hits on that turn, sucks to be you.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Wing Attack
Haze
Surf
Thunderbolt

My basic Hazing Draggy, he's been a staple on my teams since around feb-march, and I still love 'em.

Good enough for me.

Typhlosion @ Leftovers/Focus Band
Flamethrower (thinking fire blast,see below)
Sunny Day
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

I'd go with Fire Blast in this situation - I dunno about your luck, but it never seems to miss for me. Give it the Leftovers. And BTW, Thunderpunch > Aerodactyl

Light Screen Lanturn? Didn't know about that one... ^_- No problems if it's legit.

I only worry about 2 things with this team, and someone can tell me if my worries are founded:

1) A status-change team w/ a lot of Paralyzers, because of my lack of Heal Bell. I'll play under Sleep Clause, so a smeargle or whatever doesn't worry me THAT much.

You may see these IRL, but no one plays those anymore on the bots from what I've seen. You should be ok, though if you want a Roaring Ground for some T-Wave immunity, Donphan's always available.

2) Another Lax, because of the who-cursed-first issue; I can undo the curses, but I think I might have a hard time taking the other Lax out.

If you're that worried, I'd try to fit a Machamp in there somewhere. If not, just Roar or Haze it away.

Well, input is appreciated!

Thanks!

No complaints here...go with miracleberry 5/5

Snorlax @ Leftovers

W00t 5/5

Tyranitar @ Quick Claw / Lefties
Rock Slide

Crunch
Roar

Not to sure about quick claw....you may want to drop rockslide for ancientpower or a mintyrest......give it leftovers 4/5

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Wing Attack
Haze
Surf
Thunderbolt

Good...drop thunderbolt for rest and give it mintberry....a mintyrest draggy are hell to kill 4/5

Thunderpunch

Good moveset...keep flamethrower and put focusband on it, it's saved a couple times in the past. 4/5

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Surf
Thunderbolt
Light Screen
Thunder Wave

Good...drop lightscreen for confuse ray for more annoyance...4/5

I only see one fault...with the lack of regeneration you may be in trouble. Try some mintyrests on some of your pokemon instead of leftovers. But overall a great team 8/10

Alakazam: Definately miracleberry if you can get it. You may also want encore over barrier for annoyance purposes, and for those opening stat boosters.

Snorlax: May want to try this set: body slam, earthquake/counter, fire blast, selfdestruct. Makes a great lead, so maybe switch him around with alakazam.

T-tar: I don't really like roar on him. maybe try earthquake, AP, screech/roar, pursuit, as anything you can kill with crunch isn't going to stick around and make it easy. Between screech and roar, it just depends on whether you think you need a pseudo-hazer when you already have draggy. I don't think packing both is a bad idea at all, but your views may be different.

Dragonite: Basic attacking haze Draggy. if you're feeling a bit more creative, try outrage, safeguard, haze, wing attack/T-bolt/surf/ice beam/flamethrower/something else I might've missed.

Typhlosion: standard. Go with flamethrower. if you change your mind and decide to breed another, give it fire blast, thunderpunch, endure, reversal.

Lanturn: Confuse Ray > light screen. Parafusion lanturn is deadly.

Overall: 3x ground weakness, 5 weak to standard machamp, HP ghost/bug machamp will sweep. Believe me, they are out there. Basically most of these are standards.
