Well, Raindance only for Thunder is useless IMO. Try HpWater, it benefits from Raindance and covers a weakness.

Well, Standard Moves on Zappy are: T-Wave, T-Bolt, Drillpeck, Reflect, Lightscreen, Whirlwind, Sub, Rest, Hp Ice/Grass/Water

Almost every Zapdos set is mix of these.

I used to use this one:

Zapdos@Leftovers
Thunderbolt
T-wave
Sub
Whirlwind

It worked pretty well as long as you were able to take out the opponent's heal beller early in the battle. It usually worked as a nice back up for the opener Jumpluff.
