I was wondering... if i have a Koffing and i use Destiny Bond and then Selfdestruct, what effects will it have?

I mean will the enemy pokemon faint too? TNX [Wink]

Destiny Bond expires as soon as your opponent attacks. So using Selfdestruct wouldn't trigger it.

What happens if the opponent fails to attack do to confusion damamge? Or does it still count as an attack? Though if I used Self Destruct I'd be counting on fainting the opponent that turn.

Appearantly you guys are confused as to what Destiny Bond does. When you use it, if your opponent kills your pokemon the next turn, it will be killed as well. For example:

KOFFING used Destiny Bond!
MEWTWO used Psychic!
KOFFING fainted!
Well, since Mewtwo fainted Koffing after DBond was used, Mewtwo will also die. If Mewtwo didn't kill Koffing, then DBond wouldn't have any effect.

You should also note that if the Pokemon using Destiny Bond dies from a side-effect such as burn, poison, or Sandstorm the opponent will survive. It must be fainted by an attack or it won't work.
