I was playing my way through Crystal, when i came up with a new Gengar set which includes Curse. So.. check it out and tell me if you think it would work.

Gengar:@Leftovers
- Curse
- Mean Look
- Hypnosis
- ??? (Maybe Confuse Ray/Explosion/Destiny Bond or something?)

Okay, this set is to utilise the power of the ghost type Curse, which is admitedly a pain in the arse to use. So, seing as it takes half of the HP off you, i added Leftovers to recover you slowly, and make sure that you could use Curse at least twice. Of course it would be hard to pull that off with a pokemon attacking you at the same time, so the best i could do is to add Hypnosis to keep 'em quiet. Also the other tactic that they will use is to switch out, getting rid of the Curse. Therefore Mean Look is on there. The last move is a filler i guess, although i am unsure what it should be. I don't know how effective this set will be, as it takes a while to set up, and Hypnosis can be as gay as it likes at the most crucial times.

I think he has the speed to pull it off, but we shall see...

So... please rate it. I shall be testing it on Stadium and possibly GSBot sometime soon.

You can switch Nightmare for Curse, if you want to lose half your HP

Yeah. Without a Minty Rest to get you back up to speed, it's a very risky idea.
