This probably isn't the right forum, but can someone explain Hidden Power?

I've never used it, and have very little knowledge of how it works.

I know you can get types and power depending on DVs or something...but I know nothing of DVs.

I just get a nice moveset, max stats, and that's it. Any explanation would be helpful.

There are many sites on how hidden power works. Some which will explain it in much further deatil then I could ever give. (Try Meowth's or Jmans site. One of them has the HP info.)

Hidden Power can be one type, such as grass, ice, electric, etc. Its base power is between 31-70.

How do you find you HP type and its power?
he, I don't even know it
Meowth has a kick-ass program that will take your pokes DV's (has to be maxed out or just caught) and tells you the exact type and power of the move.

But since you have max stats, its dark 70 base...
