Alakazam♀
@Miracle Berry
-Psychic
-Fire Punch
-Barrier
-Recover

Alakazam is my favorite Pokémon in the game, so I couldn't fathom making a Fun Team with out her. Pretty standard moveset. Child of my Blue Alakazam.

Blastoise♂
@Focus Band
-Surf
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Mirror Coat

He is the baby of my first Squirtle that I got during my adventures of Blue. Focus Band is to give him the probability of getting an extra Mirror Coat in.

Ninetales♀
@??????
-Flamethrower
-Confuse Ray
-Safeguard
-Roar

Ninetales is very overlooked, but I love her to pieces. She is a great support Pokémon, and is by far my favorite Fire-type Pokémon.

CelebiŘ
@Leftovers
-Psychic
-Leech Seed
-Heal Bell
-Recover

You might be saying to yourself, "What exactly is Celebi doing on a Fun Team?" Well, I do not have the answer for you. I picked he/she/it because I think she is uberkawaii and my favorite Grass-type Pokémon.

Golem♂
@Scope Lens
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Substitute
-Explosion

Also the baby of my Blue Golem, with a moveset almost exactly identical to his fathers.

Jolteon♂
@??????
Thunderbolt
HP Ice (70)
Thunder Wave
Reflect

I remember when RBY just came out, my brothers and I would argue for hours on end about who would get to evolve their Eevee into Jolteon (so we could complete our Pokédexes). I always won, and Jolteon was a staple on my Blue team since the very beginning.

Well there you have it. Rate/Flame away.

Tank ewe fairy mush.

[EDIT] Took out the illegal moves and opened spaces for items on Jolteon/Ninetales.

Oh, and it's not "newbies", it's "proles". Nothing wrong with being new to the game if you're not stuck in the working classes. Hey, if we're going to be elitist, may as well go the whole hog and refer to the idiots as a lower social rank... - CatGonk at SoaG

Looks good, and I gave you a 5 for being a fellow Alakazayamn (the Chris Tucker pronounciation) fan.

Way to adhere to item clause, but I'd run the numbers on Jolteon and Ninetails' damage with their respective attachments vs the common types that you'd bring them out against. A nice Damage Calc can be found here, in case you don't have it. I suspect you may find that the difference of them with or without the attachments might make it feasible to use something else rather than type enhancers, which I generally disdain.

Damn, I missed that in my skim. Yeah, Haze and Mirror coat as of now are impossible on the same moveset on just about any Pokemon.

Automaton: I figured out that the advantages of the 10% items were not enough to make much of a difference. What would be good item replacements for them? I am dreadfully lacking in the choosing of these things. Also, what would you suggest for playing without Item Clause in effect?

Revenger: Really? Damn. Oh well. What are other good moves for him? (probably in place of Haze, seeing as Ninetails has Roar.)

Since Quake is already on him, I'll take Reflect. This team is low on Defense anyway, and it will increase the possibility that the opponent will use a special attack against Blastoise so he can Mirror Coat.

Tank ewe.

Ice Beam then. Or a second Roar could be feasible if you ain't got Crystal or a Shark.

And for the 100th time, it's Ninetales.

Mintyrest would work nicely on blastoise too.

Another thing you overlooked:

Female Jolteon can't have HP Ice (needs 3, 7, 11, or 15 for Attack DV), much less a 70 power one.

And since this is a Fun Team, use the following Celebi moveset: Perish Song, Protect, Recover, Baton Pass. That is the most HILARIOUS moveset of all time, only possibly topped by an exploding Unown.

Yeah, I noticed the Joleton thing for the first time when I tried to Attract a male Curselax and it didn't work. I have replaced it with Reflect.

An actual rate this time.

Alakazam: Barrier 'Kazam, not bad.

Blastoise: Use either: Mirror coat, mintyrest, earthquake, surf or: swagger, attract, haze, surf @leftovers(just something I made up a while ago. Not battle tested because I don't have GSbot.) Focus band probably won't work well.

Ninetales: Could try attract over roar if you put haze back on blastoise. I like spite on her, but I don't know where to put it.

Celebi: Good

Golem: Counter's nice on him, so you could try that.

Jolteon: Should be OK.

Overall: 3x ground weakness. Not a bad team overall though.

Thanks for all of the rates, but I still do not know what items to put on Ninetales and Jolteon. If possible, I would like to get a set of item suggestions w/ Item Clause in effect, and one set w/o.

Tank ewe fairy mush.
