With cfalcon's departure I have decided to renovate Sakaki Tower and turn it into something else.

Please post suggestions as to what kind of forum Sakaki Tower should be.

If you post bad suggestions I will shoot you with the Melissa virus.

Does it need to be Pokémon Related or can it be anything?

If it can be anything I suggest the following:

*A place to just post pictures of crap [naked women, ugly people, etc...]

*A place where there are no rules, you can yell at each other all you want with immunity...

*A place where silly online games can be played, or where more ORGANIZED stuff can go, like a three word story where it's taken seriously... Basically any SERIOUS stuff could go there...

*A place to just post links to files, or if possible even a place to upload to [can this board be turned into where you can post files inside of messages?]

Leave it like it is now, as "weird Pokemon science". It still gets used roughly as much as most of the other on-topic forums. All of what's been suggested already can fit in just find in Karp Park (which isn't exactly overrun with posts either).

All of what's been suggested already is pure crap, though. Except 10k's idea that it should generally be used for evil. (Well, the rating/review idea isn't totally bad.) It wouldn't have to split the Karp Park posts - maybe it could be something that would draw a different sort of traffic.

Whatever it is, it should be something that lame nitwits wouldn't be keen to post in, because if so who gives a shit. That's what KP is for.

Can any UBB rules be applied on a per-forum basis? Requiring a certain rating, for example?

Well, that's what 'thrax is going to be there for; to moderate the traffic. Then again that might be to much to ask of him if it is possible to impliment a rule, like the rating rule, on.

The thing is with the ratings is that it would be very unfair due to the fact that ratings are there for appearance only; even the better posters have low ratings due to people giving out random 1's lowering the overal ratings of people.
Edit: Not to mention topics for the purpose to raise one's ratings, PM's to people, and other ways to get around/alter ratings.
