* - Replace with Pokemon's hex number. I'd assume they're the same as the Jp version; they look it.

** - To change said pokemon's name: right now I can only deal with 4 characters. Characters are 4 hex long. Therefore, D9C7 is E; E3EB is T, etc.

^ - Attacks are, again, in hex code. This also happens to be equal to the Jp version's hex.

Hi everybody! This is my first post here. I decided that since I already knew what everything did in this code, I might as well post the labels for it. I kinda threw this together hastily from the Japanese stuff I already figured out(with help from a few others ^_^), so it could be a LITTLE more thorough... please tell me if I messed up though! Also, especially please tell me if you konw what 020300ec does! I know it's changing the stats... but... wonder what it is. BTW, this is for changing the first slot of your BOX, not your party, so be careful.

020300a4:00000000 = Bunch of stuff*
020300a8:00000000 = Trainer ID
020300ac:00000000 = Name pt 1**
020300b0:00000000 = Name pt 2**
020300b4:00000000 = Name pt 3** (takes longer now for English)
020300b8:00000000 = Original Trainer Nick pt 1
020300bc:0000BBBB = BBBB is OT Nick pt 2, Second digit stores markers****
020300c0:00000000 = Checksum*
020300c4:00000000 = Species*
020300c8:00000000 = Experience,
020300cc:00000000 = 0000XX00*** where xx = happiness
020300d0:00000000 = Attacks 1 & 2^
020300d4:00000000 = Attacks 3 & 4^
020300d8:00000000 = PP For each move, two digits each, starting from the right
020300dc:00000000 = Stat EXP 1, 2 digits per stat
020300e0:00000000 = Contest stats part 1 & Stat EXP part 2... 4 digits each
020300e4:00000000 = *****
020300e8:00000000 = Ball caught in/Lvlcaught-place Caught-pokerus (set to 01)
020300ec:00000000 = ******
020300f0:00000000 = Medals

*gender, genes, personality, also what memory area holds which data in the encrypted blocks below the checksum
**I dunno about the codes for party, but for the codes for the 1st slot in the box, like this, each letter is two hex numbers, starting at BB for "A"
***I think, it goes up when you walk anyway... what else could it be?
****The markers are stored as if each one of the markers is a binary number, starting from the right... so just the heart filled is 8, square+heart = A, etc...
***** AABBCCDD, AA = the stars that show how many pokeblocks the pokemon has eaten, BBCCDD are the rest of the contest stats
****** If first digit is > B, then it's a good egg... the other 7 digits are some kind of stat mod... sorry, anyone know what they do? Could they be for "tail whip" and such, and aren't meant to be modified outside of battle? I guess I could test that pretty easily...

Hmm... what happens if the checksum has an invalid value? Hopefully, it will erase those cheaters' saved games... [Smile]

If the checksum is incorrect, it just turns the pokemon into a "Bad Egg" that doesn't do anything. I think they hatch sometimes, but if that happens, it crashes your game. Also, if you change the checksum to what it SHOULD be, it will fix the pokemon.

I'll do one for personalities. Not sure how abilities work, if you could send me a code for two of the same poke with different abilities, then I could probably figure it out though.

I'd like to know exactly which codes would I have to use in order to distribute my Effort Points as I wish and the code for changing Natures / Personalities.

Also, do these codes work on the Game Boy or only on the English ROM?

Thanks in advance. [Smile]

(it seems even meowth reacted to that at least he had an anti cheat news a few days after i released it)

thats all i have right now. Altering pokemon in rs is not easy enough for monkeys [Wink]

Thanks. Those codes are very helpful. Has there been any success finding these codes?

1. Modify 1st pokemon stats to whatever stat desire (don't want max out pokemon)
2. Modify personality to whatever personality desire
3. Modify ability to whatever ability desire
4. Modify moves to whatever move desire
...

thanks again
