One of my friends is goin' crazy over here looking for the code that changes a Pokémon's gender. Can someone help a brother out and post it here? Thanks.

Which Game is it for?
Gold/Silver or Crystal?
Also, what species is the particular critter?
As it varies much dependent upon what they actually are.

There isn't actually a "gender code". That variable is a side effect of the "Attack/Defense DV" code.
First off, I'll just give you the codes for maximum stats:

(Note: The Crystal version's variable map is offset, meaning you'll need to change those last four digits. Someone who actually OWNS that game will tell you.)
See that bold F? That's what you need to change in order to change gender. For a male, simply leave it at F, so you can have max stats. Some Pokemon (such as Blissey) will remain female even at F; there's no way to change gender on those.
If you want a female, follow these steps.
1: Change the F to a B. Check stats. If it's still male, go to step 2.
2: Change the B to a 7. Check stats. If it's still male, go to step 3.
3: Change the 7 to a 3. Check stats. If it's still male, go to step 3.
4: Change the 3 to a 1. Check stats. If it's still male, you're wasting your time. Change it back to an F and hit yourself over the head with a frying pan, because you seem to want to do anything on request.
Those are merely instructions. You must be the one to follow them.

When I first made my team in the gold version I wanted to use an Attract/T-Bolt/T-Wave/Sub Jolteon and the one I traded over from RBY turned out to be male. Someone actually gave me a one line code (I'm pretty sure it was here) and when I entered it, bam, it was female. But I didn't save the code anywhere.

Male: 01FF43DA
Female: 011F43DA
You won't get the max possible attack DV, but you only have to enter the code once. If it doesn't change gender with the appropiate code, hit yourself over the head with a saucepan. Frying pans don't hurt as much.
