Humm... does someone know if there is a game boy printer software emulator? That way you can use the game shark cable to link the GB in the PC, and print all that pokémon stuff! [Smile]

Do you know anything about this?

To my knowledge, there are no GameBoy emulators that support all the cool hardware add-ons of the GameBoy. I have checked out a bunch of emulators, and I found that there is one or two that emulate the game link, but none of them emulate IR, and not one the GameBoy printer. Even the best ones can't take the place of a real GameBoy and real GameBoy Accessories. I may be a bit behind on the times though, the emulators I used may have been updated to support more things. Just keep searching, if there is one out there that does what you want, you'll eventualy find it. One of these days I'm going to write a GameBoy emulator...

Ok, I did some searching and I found a link to what seemed like a website about gameboy printer

http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown/1333/pocket.html

But, it returns some message, possibly like that particular html page no longer exists, so, I tried just the website itself...

http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown/1333

That DID return a website, but, it's only available in Japaneese, but, it MIGHT have something of use to you, I dunno... It's worth a shot...

For just alot of gameboy info in general
http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/gameboy.html

Good luck,
MK

That first site is just a translation of a Nintendo site about the GameBoy printer, it seems. You can check it out here, if you want, but I don't think it will help all that much.

Great! Thanks people!

But there isn´t much information about what I´m looking for... I just want to print some Unown labels using my GB and my HP 692 printer, using a printer emulator ^^

Or print my pokémon stats....

Or another dumb thing to do with GB printer ^^

I was just on the Visual Boy Advance website, and one of the features listed is "Gameboy Printer emulation". See http://vba.ngemu.com/faq.shtml

I haven't tested it myself, but you might want to try that feature out.

Go to Options > Gameboy > Printer. This turns the printer function on, though I haven't used it. Just take a screen capture and print out the .pmg if you really want to print something out.

What Nintendo doesn't want you to know
Uiru: "Now that we're all used to the rules, clauses and by-laws... what would happen to the metagame if every one of them were whipped away?"
GP-Chan: "id probably quit every battle, and not just every other battle."
ThumbsOfSteel: "Why, because they broke the rules?"
