I just recently restarted by Crystal cart so I could get a Masterball for Duping, and some shinies from the Odd egg.

When I began, I had my normal doduo speed...but when I turned it off at Goldenrod I lost it since I haven't beaten the elite 4 on it yet.

Would it be possible to access Doduo speed through my Gold cart, then switch to my Crystal without losing the doublespeed mode?

The normal gameboy speed is now killing my patience.
