*sigh* Due to previously unknown glitch/problem with my transfer pak while using Stadium 2, my Crystal version's internal clock has just jumped about 2 days and 13 hours ahead.

Mind you, this game has never been touched by a Shark. However, it looks like I might have to resort to using one...either that, or wait until Tuesday at 8:13 PM to restore from my Mega Memory Card after wiping out the old game and resetting the time.

Any suggestions, people?

Thanks,

To claim mastery is to imply that there is nothing else to learn. Thus, I shall never be a Pokemon Master, since there's *always* something to learn.

I own a Mega Memory Card, and it will not change the time of your game. Even if you wait until then. I guess that what the Mega Memory Card uses and saves to doesn't mess with the time at all, so, looks like you're going to have to use a GameShark to fix the time, unless Meowth346 finds/tells/shows us a way to change the time on Crystal...

I think you'd have to look long and hard to find someone who would whine about using a Shark to just fix your time.

(Of course, people whine about just about anything these days...)

So, unless Meowth coughs up the Crystal time change method, just go for it.

(Hey, wait. If the MegaMem thing doesn't affect the time, couldn't he start a new game, set the time right and then restore his old save?)

Hey, Uiru's right! Trust me, I have backed up and restored saved games for Gold and Silver using two devices. One a Mega Memory Card and the other a Pelicann Brain Boy Monster Brain G/S Editor. The saved game it stores doesn't include the time, so, all you have to do to fix the time is first back up your game where it is right now on the mega memory card. Then, start a new game, and set the time correctly when Oakie asks for it. Then, play for a little while and save the same. Then, put in the Mega Memory Card, restore your OLD save game file, and, the time will now be correct with your old saved game data in tact.

Good thinkin Uiru! *MK gives Uiru a pat on the back*

Maybe, if you were really smart, you'd actually just look around the internet/usenet for the Crystal Time Change. Maybe Meowth isn't the only one that knows. Maybe, just MAYBE, you were too stupid to think of that before.

And then you will of course be more than happy to share the code with us, and all will be forgiven.

For the record:

A: There is no evidence that there IS a time change password abilitiy in Crystal. Yes, the screen to do it and stuff is still there, but, it could be unused game data, like the G/S Ball sequence, it's there, you just can't access it without cheating. However, there COULD be a password to take you to that area, we just don't know if there is one yet.

B: No, if there is a password we must all turn to Meowth! Do not try to search the internet for it!

My favorite Sakaki tower constant would have to be...

Meowth help us!

Or...

That bastard Meowth won't give us codes...

One of my favorite in-game quotes comes from Mary, during the Team Rocket Radio Tower Takeover...

"Why? Why do I have to suffer through things? MEOWTH, help me!"
