Is there anyway to spot if an opponent is using pokemon with modified genes and say maximum experience. I dont mean stat modification to say 999 attack which can be adjusted by simply putting the pokemon in question into a box and then removing, i mean direct modifications within the parameters of the game like those mentioned on this site under max stats whereby giving a pokemon the best possible genes and maximum stat experience rather than battling which would allow the user to not raise his pokemon up, but just leveling up through rare candies. I have brought this up in the chat room, but no one there really knew. Can anyone tell me if there is a may of spotting this sharking.

I believe it is impossible to tell. Just use common sense. If they have 6 max-staters, you can be suspicious. Although, that may not be fair, because it is possible to catch 6 max-staters... I have cought 3...
