i mean, with c_falcon's MAX stat code,it also edits the DV thing for hidden power, but, if we just put that to AA, and the rest of the code as normal, then wouldn't it be possible to be maxed and shiney?

1. I tried it, it didnt work
2. it changes the dv's to 10 instead of 15 which is a max stat pokemon

Max stats are FFFF.

Max shiny stats are FAAA.

That's 15/10/10/10/8 versus 15/15/15/15/15.

Both are very good stats, though.

Someone with a Gameshark and a lot of time should make a guide listing the color of each shiny Pokemon.

there is no max shiny. there is no min shiny. there is one, and only one, shiny. as cfalcon says, shiny is ALWAYS faaa. higher or lower stats would not make it shiny. it must be EXACTLY 15 10 10 10! (and hp would figger to 8)

on a related note, shiny pokémon will never breed with other shinies. just in case anyone has silly ideas about breeding their shinies...

max genes: 01ff3fda 01ff40da
shiny genes: 01fa3fda 01aa40da
as you can see from the codes, you can't have both.

No, there are several possible gene values for a shiny. In binary, the genes must look like this ('x' means it can be 0 or 1):

xx1x 1010
1010 1010

This means that 8/15/10/10/10 is the "max shiney" and 0/0/10/10/10 is the "min" shiney.

I hate to sound really stupid, but there just may be a gameshark code or something to make your pokemon shiny but it would just be a glitch and if you shut the shark off it wouldn't work...

Of course there would be plenty of ways to do something similar to that using various shark codes.

There are eight possible shiny values legally: forcing the GB to display something different is of course possible, at least in theory.
