1st, the code. Is there one to get a certain attachment on a wild pokemon, like catch a Scizor with a Scope Lens attached, or even one that makes a Pokemon show up with the item it may come with (like Shellder with a Big Pearl)?

2nd...remember the Missingno. trick in R/B? If you wanted certain high level Pokemon, the 3rd, 5th, and 7th letters in your name had to be certain ones? Well, I'm thinking that to get certain items through the Mystery Gift, you have to have a certain name (I.E., my name in the game is Rei, and I send Music Mail. My sister's is Mina, and she sends Geodude Dolls, and my brother is Gold and he sends Shellder Dolls). Thoughts???

The old man trick was a glitch, but the mystery gift was programmed in intentionally. So I don't think there's any good ground for this theory. There's an easy way to test it, though. If two people with the same name always give the same mystery gifts, then there's a 90% chance that the name determines the gift. If two people with the same name give different gifts, then there's a 100% chance that the name doesn't determine the gift.

If I had two Game Boy Colors, or if there was an emulator that supported the IR port, then I could find the GameShark codes for the mystery gift. But well, I don't have two GBCs and I don't know any such emulator yet.
