is anyone else having problems with it?

I've followed the instructions and was able to save info on silver and gold, RB, and restore. But when I'm trying to copy my bro's red, the things just stopped working. In other words, the meg mem thingy acts if there isn't a cartridge attached?

Defective cart? (return) or just me? (patience) or is it something I did? (explanation) Thanks

The only problem I had with a Mega Memory Card was my Silver's save file getting nuked... had to start all the way back from Ecruteak because it was the last time I had it backed up. ><

Try to make sure the cart's tightly in there, and also the MegaMem in the Gameboy... it happens often, and you can usually go on without anything getting damaged. Use with caution.

UPDATE....

I erased my Yellow version. Good thing I've have most of the characters saved on stadium. Sucks tho cuz I need to redo.

Should I exchange my mega mem? I wasn't even able to save data from my yellow version. It won't recognize my carts, unless I fiddle with it (that's the best way I can explain it). That's how I lost my yellow data. Poor star.SHOCK, poor Janet Reno... In fact, the data on the mega cards got erased. SCARY.... do I have the right one? It's version 1.0 Interact Mega Memory. Is there a more reliable one?

MegaMem works fine with my Yellow cart, but for Silver I have to hold the cart flat against the Gameboy when I start it up (unaided, both games point away from the unit). After that, it doesn't matter. *shrug*
