Sometimes when I want to fight Missingno,I fight Professor Oak instead.Anyone else fought him before?

There's a GameShark code that allows you to fight Oak as a trainer, and he uses a Missingno.
This is probably a similar glitch.

I'm not kiding I have beaten Professor Oak with unglitched Pokémon
His Pokémon were stuff like Turos,Gyados,Arcanine,Exeggutor and a few others(they were levels 65-69ish)and if you ask me you had to fight him after gary in the Beta versions of the games then they took it out because 6 trainers was going too far

hmm, i HAVE fought prof. oak when i was foolin' with the "fight any pokéy" code when i first got my shark. it's the same code, just enter numbers other than the pokéys and you fight trainers. however, i didn't see a missingno. i remember tauros AND exeggutor, and several other super tough pokémon. but when experimenting with the code, i found many trainers' pokémon were not always the same. it wasn't random, but it seemed to depend upon where i was and which of those trainers (i.e. which gentleman or which bugcatcher) i fought last. not sure how it would handle oak, tho, since you don't really fight him.

i don't know about fighting oak in beta versions, either. not sure which beta you're talking about, but i've got an untranslated green (with a mew!) and i never fought oak.

I know how you fought a non-glitched Professor Oak! There is a Game SHark code posted by JDonald on GameFAQs-you go into the cerulean city gym and with the code on, the trainer near misty is Professor OAk when you talk to him. That right? or not? thats how I did it, plus-I'm listed under his thank yous for "critical feedback"
