Maybe it's a neutered ditto, either that, or your not waiting long enough. Just wait a couple hours or so.

Ooh! I wanna know how to neuter ditto! Also, how can I add gender to my other pokemon? Are there any g/s codes for that? Also, does anyone have a code to make pokemon of the same gender mate? I'd just love a gay nidoking...

That was a joke..and the thought of a homosexual nidoking just scares me. I think there is a gameshark code for changing a pokemons gender...check www.pokemasters.com I believe they just updated there gameshark codes for G/S. I'm not sure though.

Please remember that gender is determined by only two things:

(1) Gender distribution for monster (could be all one, none, or a certain percent male/female ratio)

(2) Attack value. Males are stronger, if any exist of that species.

But are all males always stronger? Isn't that just a bit sexist? I mean, don't females have any stronger stats than males?

No, in the majority of species of animals(including Humans) males are stronger, is just how it is designed, is not sexist, it is the Truth...

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that males are stronger in attack and defense while females are stonger in the special areas.

Nope, Attack is the only thing that determines gender, and males always have the higher gene, unless it's a one-gender or no-gender species.

As someone pointed out way, way back when this was first discovered, the gender strengths should be reversed for Bug-types.

And that's why females have better defensive stats. It kind of reflects nature: females fight to protect their young; and males (thick-headed as they are no offense ) fight for dominance.

No, they don't. If you caught 100 male Pokemon and 100 female Pokemon, the average of the males' Defense gene values would be the same as the females'.

It would be a Nidoqueen, but that's already a Pokmon. Nidoclary? Nidonorton? Nidomarril7?

BTW, these are all homosexual people who have had their names hijacked into Nido pokmon, IF YOU HADN'T GUESSED.
