I was finishing Pokémon Red and when I get to Lance's dragonite he uses Agility and then uses Barrier and then doesn't use anything else, I tried to cath the dragonite with a Master Ball but to no avail. =^P So, what do you guys think? Why did that happen? Is it possible to somehow get pokémon with other moves through whatever glitch did that?

You can use the Gameshark code to catch other trainer's pokemon 010156D0 (yellow)010157D0 (red+blue) Make sure the Gameshark is in the off position when you turn on the game. Then right after Lance takes out his Dragonite turn the switch on, and you should be abe to catch it.
Technically Dragonite can't learn Barrier, but I've figured that lousy Lance has used a gameshark of his own If you try to use Barrier on a Dragonite it'll probably show up as an illegal move on Stadium...but who knows? If you put Fly on Pikachu it doesn't show up illegal either. Might be interesting to test this out. I dunno if Barrier is a move worth having on a Dragonite though.

Amnesia would serve Dragonite better, anyway.

Perhaps there is a way to get Dragonite with Barrier, or some cheap move on some cheap pokémon (Dream Eater on a Parasect or Spore on some Dream Eater pokémon) in Stadium.
Also, no one has seemed to mention how you get Flying Pikachu in Stadium (I know how). Is it because Flying Pikachu is too useless or is it because everyone knows this already?

You could shark it... or you can get it the legitimate way. It's the same way you get Surfing Pikachu (Prime Cup Master Ball Round 2, a GB imported Pikachu must be on your team), but a second member must be either Zapdos or a Normal-Flying pokémon. I got this from a friend so I can't validate this.

He has an Electrode with Spore in his pocket, but he's to nice to use it on a little whizzitch like Ash or Gary.
LOL! I'd add that to my sig, if I had room.

If Misty's Starmie did not have Bubblebeam, how did my Pikachu die from bubblebeam, making me switch to Wartortle who kicked her ass into the pool above her?

How can you catch Misty's Starmie? Doesn't she block the pokeball?

Would stadium class it as legal?

Puh-leez... I taught Lance everything he knows about Dragons... trouble is he's like many *Dragon Masters* - they're a bunch of big headed newbies that like Dragons because they look cool when they do hyper beam, but can't think up any good movesets with what they have available - so they shark... there are the odd exception I might add

Mr E however overlooked that Ryuujin's Dragon team has long since gone into retirment and finds himself staring at a team slightly over-equipped with anti-Ice creatures (I hate Ice - so I put a little extra into killing Icey beasts)
