Since only one person responded to my desperate plea for anyone with extensive gameshark knowledge, I'll try it again.I was told that my game of Pokémon Blue may not be compatible with Gameshark because Nintendo put in some anti-hack stuff. I've heard several times that you can't use the same gameshark for a pocket or old or colour. And I've also been topld there is a black and grey gameshark.
I'm really looking into buying one, and I would like to do it soon. I have an 8-year old gameboy, one of the old and big ones, and I got my version of Blue sometime in March break. I need to know if any gameshark would be compatible with what I have.
Also, my friend who I was going to buy it with, is planning on getting a gameboy colour and he got his version of red sometime around christmas I think. We were going to plan on getting one for both of us, but if it's only compatible with one, then it will be a problem.
Please let me know of anything that you may know about this. I know most of the regular gameshark rules like don't save while it's on and stuff like that, I just need to know about it's compability.
