Since only one person responded to my desperate plea for anyone with extensive gameshark knowledge, I'll try it again.
I was told that my game of Pokémon Blue may not be compatible with Gameshark because Nintendo put in some anti-hack stuff. I've heard several times that you can't use the same gameshark for a pocket or old or colour. And I've also been topld there is a black and grey gameshark.
I'm really looking into buying one, and I would like to do it soon. I have an 8-year old gameboy, one of the old and big ones, and I got my version of Blue sometime in March break. I need to know if any gameshark would be compatible with what I have.
Also, my friend who I was going to buy it with, is planning on getting a gameboy colour and he got his version of red sometime around christmas I think. We were going to plan on getting one for both of us, but if it's only compatible with one, then it will be a problem.
Please let me know of anything that you may know about this. I know most of the regular gameshark rules like don't save while it's on and stuff like that, I just need to know about it's compability.
