Someone might like this...Okay, you guys prob all know about the +100 level PKMN you get when doing MISSINGNO. glitch right? Well, I have found a way to get AS MUCH HEALTH AS YOU WANT with the two or three of them you can find in your game. Here's the thing. Suppose you find a Snorlax, level 150, with 500 HP (just a random figure). Now, raise it to level 255 w/rare candies, and it'll have 999 HP (again, just a guess). Well, then put it in a box. WARNING! DO NOT put level 255 Pokemon traded to you by someone else in a box. You can not get them out without freezing the game. ONLY do this with the ones YOU find. (Research topic, anyone?) WARNING! Okay, back to the trick... Anyway, you just boxed your Snorlax. Take it out again....and.... It's back at level 150, like when you caught it. "DARN!" you say, preparing to duplicate some more rare candies. BUT WAIT! Check the Snorlax's health. This is where it gets interesting... it would, in the case of our hypothetical Snorlax, show: 999/500 Hmmmm... So, raise it again and it's got 1498/999 or something. Box it, you get 1498/500...Lather, rinse, and repeat... Just don't use a potion or go to the Pokemon Center unless you want to see your off-screen health bar go doooooooown....and dooooooown...to it's "max" again =) Whaddaya think? ------------------

Well, it certainly won't go above 65535, and it just might start giving you problems past 32767, percieving all numbers past that as negative...Thankfully, this is obviously cheating... The reason is that CURRENT hit points are NEVER recalculated until you actually take your monster to nurse joy. All other stats are, of course, whenever you unbox or level. This is simply a corrolary to the fact that when you box trick a monster, his current hp remain unchanged even as his max rises (when you pull him out of a box). Normally levelling gives you a small hp boost (enough to keep you at max if you were before), but pulling things out of boxes doesn't duplicate this effect. Decent exploit. ------------------ -cfalcon "Thanks for deleting the post, cfalcon!" -UBB Automessage

I have to admit, I didn't think this would work, but it does! Normally when you box a L100+ monster he retains his level. But when his EXP gets too high it'll wrap around back to low EXP and the monster's level will reduce. I tried this with Starmie, starting at level 152. At around level 200 or so, his EXP went from super high to around 700000 again. However, that is just what the game displays, his real EXP was still being interpreted as super high, so my Starmie kept his level. At around level 250, his EXP really did go overboard and my Starmie got degenerated to Level 136. I guess if you get unlucky your pokemon might degenerate to sub L100 but I dunno if this is ever the case. The trick does work, I tested it pretty well, and the max HP you can have is 65535 (no negative number problems)!! The HP bar will extend around the screen and mess up the graphics, but it works, and you can see the last two digits of your HP clearly.Wow, this trick is really great! This should be tournament legal, right? Tournaments should not force you to take your pokemon to Nurse Joy. In fact they should not force you to do anything you wouldn't have to normally. As long as you do not Gameshark anything you do should be legal. They should not even force you to box your pokemon, although that one doesn't matter if you didn't Gameshark anything. If they do force you to Joy your pokemon though, this won't work, and neither will pre-poisoning or pre-paralyzing pokemon. X( ------------------

The Tourney rules say that you can't use any Pokemon that has been altered by a game "trick." Not that you'd get away with it anyway...
