Sorry if this is somewhere I haven't looked in yet, but how can you change Mew's nickname? How about Lola's?

Mew is the only guy on my team without a nick.

You can change nicknames by changing the trainer ID number of the target Pokémon to match yours. The code for red/blue is:

01**77D1
01**78D1

That Pokémon must be in the first slot.

After that, just go to Lavender Town and change the nickname just like you would a regular Pokémon.

No, I don't think that works... It only displays the ID no. put in, but I don't think you can change a Pokémon nickname afterwards. Maybe because it stores it within the Pokémon, meaning two values don't match, so it could screw up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that you need to change the Pokémon's ID NUmber and OT name to match yours. But, I've never tried this before.

i only changed the OT number and i could change their names but I also happened to have the same trainer name
