Enter this code, then go to GB Tower. Mew will show up on the title screen instead of Charmander or Squirtle. (Works only on Red/Blue) Cool, huh?

And if you fail to realize the significance of this code, you will soon enough understand why this is such an accomplishment.

Is it significant because it is one of the first codes for Pokemon Stadium that effects the way your GB cartride is played on GB Tower?

Something like that, except that this code doesn't alter the GB Tower's MEMORY at all. It's altering the Game Boy ROM itself, and I think I'll go ahead and post it.

This will let you convert Game Boy Pokemon Game Genie codes to N64 Game Shark codes. It also opens up a lot of gates for making new codes for Stadium GB Tower.

8019A7E8

That memory location in the N64 is the start of the Game Boy emulator's first ROM location (0x0000). So you can modify the ROM, as Stadium reads it, directly -- just like the Game Genie for Game Boy does.

Is anyone confused by this?

You mean it alters the ROM and not the RAM? That's pretty amazing. You're right, that does open up a whole lot of new possibilities.

Exactly... It only alters the Game Boy game's ROM, however. I think there MIGHT be a way to modify Stadium ROM, but I'd have to do some more research, with a copy of the Stadium ROM, which would probably be hard to come by seeming as I don't have a cart dumper. However, if you know where to find one and are interested in me pursuing this research, email me at kamek@kamekskastle.com.
