This topic is for GameShark codes that do funny looking effects.

To begin with, check out the picture of Prof.Oak at [broken link removed]. Pretty funny? Well, can't quite do something like that, but we can turn Prof.Oak into a pokemon to battle against!

Step 1. Put in these codes.
for yellow:
01E258D0
010156D0
018FD9CF
0191DACF
018EDBCF
0185DCCF
01F2DDCF
018EDECF
0180DFCF
018AE0CF
0150E1CF

for red/blue:
01E259D0
010157D0
018FDACF
0191DBCF
018EDCCF
0185DDCF
01F2DECF
018EDFCF
0180E0CF
018AE1CF
0150E2CF

Step 2. With the GS switch off, fight a wild pokemon that has some skills which you'd like to battle against, and run away from it.

Step 3. Turn on the GS switch and battle Prof. Oak the pokemon! If you like you can knock him out or throw a master ball at him.

Similarly, here's the codes for Lt.Surge. Uses the same instructions.
for yellow:
01EC58D0
010156D0
018BD9CF
0193DACF
01F2DBCF
0192DCCF
0194DDCF
0191DECF
0186DFCF
0184E0CF
0150E1CF

for red/blue:
01EC59D0
010157D0
018BDACF
0193DBCF
01F2DCCF
0192DDCF
0194DECF
0191DFCF
0186E0CF
0184E1CF
0150E2CF

Yet more awesome codes! You must really know what your doing because you never seem to stop! Does the Pokemon still look like Prof. Oak when you catch it?

fool-kids-into-thinking-mew-can-be-caught-in-the-game-without-a-gameshark method #4

put in these codes,
for red/blue:
011589D8
01158BD8
01158DD8
01158FD8
011591D8
011593D8
011595D8

for yellow:
011588D8
01158AD8
01158CD8
01158ED8
011590D8
011592D8
011594D8

using a gameshark with these codes in effect, save your game while your character is standing in any patch of grass.

later on, with people crowded around you, and without the gameshark, load your saved game. tell them you hit some button under the truck over by the s.s.anne which enabled you to catch a mew in this patch of grass, or something like that. run around in that patch of grass and mew will be the first pokemon that pops up for a random battle.

Cheater: Can you use the "fool-kids-into-thinking-mew-can-be-caught-in-the-game-without-a-gameshark method #4" to get other pokemon in patches of grass? (Just by replacing all the 15's with the other variables & numerals.) Then I won't have to shark a mr. mime, farfetch'd, jynx, etc. when I want to get one.

yeah you can use other quantifier digits to do this with other pokemon.

but remember the effect isn't permanent on the patch of grass. in fact you can only do this to get ONE random battle with that specific pokemon. because after any battle the game looks at what patch of grass your character is standing in and resets which pokemon are catcheable in your position.

Here are some codes I found with the code generator:

These are for Yellow.

Put a Triangle in Ash's head (It looks like an Axe!): 013502c3

Ash's picture modifier: 01**02c1

I'm looking for more!

Not exaclty sure how to change that but here is an awsome code that took me about 17 minutes to find: 01**E1DE

That is the Pallete modifier (It changes the colors). I'd assume it is yellow specific. To get it to work put it in, when you can walk flick the GS switch, press start then go to POKéMON and the pallete will change! I've been looking all over for this code. Then I decided to find it myself with the Code Generator. This is a code I've been looking for for a while....

P.S. FF looks cool!

(Obviously this is GameBoy Color exclusive)

Volrath50 I have a question. Is there anyway to use that code to change a specific picture or area and keep it that way. For instance say I wanted to change a pokemon a certain color in the stats screen could I do that. If there is no code out there to do that could someone figure out a way to do that? I have a gameshark pro But I have absolutely no idea how to use the code generator feature. Help??!!
