This has absolutely nothing to do with the board. it's not the board's fault. Things it could be are:- You are running windows 98 first or second edition and at one point netscape v4.7 or higher was loaded, or MSN instant messenger was loaded, thus loading a permanent Winsock-crashing bug. Reload windows.
- You got a virus. Live with it. Reload windows.
- Somehow your winsock file got corrupted, deleted, messed aroud with in an untimely fasion. reload windows.
Essentially, if the problem persists, contact your computer dealer, and he/she will likely tell you to reload windows. Expect to do this many more times. Microsoft sucks. I just had to do it recently with my machine at home. ------------------ "And all this coming from a guy who dropped physics... twice." - Yavarice Hah!

> *cackles* I have a virus. And there's very little chance in hell of ME reinstalling windows. Hell no. I like my settings and I'm a dumb fuck so I dont think I'd get them back if I reinstalled it. Last time I reinstalled Windows I named my computer Ian. It was called Computer before that.

Well, at least you know how to name your computer. If you need to reinstall windows, get the latest version of Windows 95. I'm not joking. Unless you can get NT, anything else is relatively pathetic. Win98 first and second edition are still bug ridden, ME is completely useless and the CD is better used as a frisbee, and 2000 is too new and buggy, just like every other Microsoft 2000 program. However, 2000 has a promising future, seeing as to how it's based on NT technology. ------------------ "And all this coming from a guy who dropped physics... twice." - Yavarice Hah!
