If you use sky attack, the charging up part, then go to sleep, you will not be able to attack until you wake up, but when you do, you use Sky Attack.

I'm not sure about the other charge-up moves, because i never use them.

It worls with Solar Beam too, so I'd assume that it works with all two-turn attacks.

well, I works on stadium, but most of the time the pokemon dies before it comes to attack
