Other than the givens, Koffing, Oddish, and Wiggly. Those are so undisputed, it would make no sense to argue over them.Porygon, Magikarp, and Weedle are very good. Any else you can think of? (I sort of like Farfetch'd. How can a leek-wielding ninja duck be bad?) I just wanted to set these down in stone. Why? Because I'm bored. Oh, and please don't flame me. Magikarp is one, not a cadidate. When the boards are down, what's the message? It's a Magikarp being flushed down the toilet. That's good enough for me!

Well, Voltorb's on a button, sort of. All I know of for sure are Koffing, Wigglytuff and Oddish. I was pretty sure Porygon and Chansey were too.
What about Azurmarril, I mean Azure and all.
Oh, shouldn't Slowbro be one? ^_^;

Time for a somewhat-exhaustive search of ye olde site...
Well, when you first go to the site, there's Koffing in the upper left, and Porygon in the upper right.
In the upper left of most pages on the Main Site, there's an image with the words 'Azure Heights' with a pokémon in the
background; all of these images have an embedded link, (http://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure/index.htm), which takes you to the Main Site's Index. The images' URLs are

These are the pokémon I've found in this 'Looky' URL Path:
-Magikarp (What's New, Forums Index, Chat, Contributers, Links, Founders, Heading Explanations)
-Koffing (Individual, Alphabetized, and TM's/HM's Attack Pages)
-Wigglytuff (Attack Comparisons Pages, and the 'Other' sections of the Attacks, like Paralysis, OHKO's, Stat Mods, &c.)
-Electrode (Pokédex Index, the Alphabetized Pokémon pages, and the Stone-evolved pages)
-Chansey (Individual Pokémon Page)
-Goddish (right, so the URL is actually for Oddish, but we all know the truth; he's on the Pokémon Type Comparisons pages)

On the Founders page, there are these pokémon in front of the Founders' names:

Apparently, there are a few other incidences of Pokémon sightings. If the Forums aren't working correctly, Magikarp has obviously been flushed down the toilet. If you get 404ed into the Unknown Dungeon ('Looking for something? You've wandered out of the lab! There's nothing to see out here!'), that hoodlum pointing at you has a Koffing symbol on his cap, and good ol' Wiggly is in the upper right, ready to whisk you back to the Main Site Index. And lastly, on the Flood Control page in the forums, there's %r cmd_line_bad::ta&===@=ke you b#ck toUNKNOWN VARIABLEthe fff^xffD00lete Univer--f27d? I'd have to say that Koffing and Porygon are as close to official as anything gets, being that they are the favorite Pokemon of the guys who did the most work on the site.
As for the rest of them...I'd say any Pokemon that other major contributors like a lot is in the running, including White Cat's Arcanine and GK's Golem...and of course all the others mentioned here.
But, really, none of this is "official"...
