Do imagine AHPL as being in any particular location in the Pokemon world? Like on top of Mt. Moon or the base of Indigo Plateau or something like that?

Personally I imagine it as some kind of Esthar...you know, only the people who can find the entrance can get in, and then its all cool and techy and advanced and all...and yes, it floats in the sky

I vaguely remember "Poke Wars!" on AGNP describing Azure as being near Indigo, and only the Elite Four and League Champions could get in. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I always imagined it to be a huge blue city built on top of a large purple balloon filled with gas.

I always figured it was at the peak of a high mountain, above all the clouds except the ones that look like a ball of cotton stretched out... nothing but blue in all directions but down, where you could see a mix of clouds and ground... open to all who could find the damn mountain.

Hmm, I think of Azure as kinda like the Emerald City, except it's blue with Pokémon running around. And it's floating in the sky like Stratos or Cloud City.

I see it as a cyan-ish color crystalline city floating around a few tall, spiky mountains with some ambient clouds.

I've always pictured it as a huge Pokecenter on top of a platue where everything is a light blue and trainers share their deep wisdom of Pokemon. Too bad they let the less educated in though...

Don't ask me why, but I always pictured it as somewhere on Cinnibar Island. The part of the island that was out of reach from the volcano, that is...with palm trees and a mythical warm green glow to it....But I can also see it as somewhere deep below Seafoam Islands or something...

No, umm...I, too, saw it as this temple-looking thing on a mountain. A place where the Stantler and the Tauros roam, and a place where Koffing float freely throught the air, and trainers training one on one in a big room with paper walls.

Well, Azure Heights IS a Pokemon Laboratory, so I imagined it as some sort of high tech lab-ish place with all sorts of odd structures...

and it was blue. A painful blue color everywhere, to deter lamers and tourists.

I think Crimzonite has the right idea. I have this very foggy memory that the first mention of AH was in one of Moof's PWs (i.e. possibly even before he threw up the original site, or very shortly thereafter). I imagine that CG would stand the best chance of remembering (well, besides Moof).

Anyhow, there was MWF who joined and had this character with a Reasearch Resort near that Plateu place with the E4. And lo, when this site was started by said Moof, he kept the name Azure Heights, so I assume it's the same place. =)

My old fart pokeknowledge sure comes in handy sometimes, I was questioning if it was worth keeping my brain working on shit like that.
