I've been registered here maybe a week or so and I still can't quite figure out all the acronyms that get thrown around on a regular basis... could someone whip up a list?

This most likely isn't ALL the acronyms, and some of them are the really common ones, but in my opinion it doesn't hurt to mention them here...hope this helps.

LOL - Laughing Out Loud
ROTFL - Rolling On The Floor Laughing
AFAIK - As Far As I Know
IIRC - If I Recall Correctly
IMO - In My Opinion
IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
j/k - joke
GS - GameShark
G/S - Gold/Silver
RBY - Red/Blue/Yellow
RBYG - Red/Blue/Yellow/Green
AH - Azure Heights
AGNP - alt.games.nintendo.pokemon
TPM - The PokeMasters

This last one is way too long to be an acronym but funny nonetheless...

STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus

Basically, the 50% type-matching bonus that applies to, for example, a Psyduck using Surf.

And, yes, Normals do get the bonus.
